SGN Scoops is not your grandma’s SGM magazine- it’s one you can both enjoy! We offer gospel music news and views from artists you know & love, and artists we’d love you to meet – from various parts of the gospel music canvas.
Founded by Allen Smith in 2000, SGN Scoops digital is the first southern gospel magazine to go to online-only publishing.
Purchased by Coastal Media (owners of SGMRadio.com) in 2009, Scoops was relaunched with the goal of more interaction and a wider range of coverage.
SGN Scoops is also home of the fan-based Diamond Awards, held annually at the Branson Gospel Music Convention.
Our Vision:
SGN Scoops exists to showcase what is distinguished, intriguing, and real about southern & country gospel music. We seek with our stories to shed light on people fulfilling a call to minister – to make or support the making of music that excites an audience and glorifies God.
And we seek to do it interactively.
