The Talley Trio and the staff of Crossroads recently celebrated the success of the Talley Trio's #1 May single "The Broken Ones" with a party at the Crossroads studio and offices.
Radio promoter Jim Stover, along with the Crossroads staff, presented the group with a congratulatory plaque at the special catered luncheon. Also in attendance were Kim and Tony Hudgins from the Spin-N-Motion song promotion company who provided additional support for "The Broken Ones" to radio.

Gospel legend Dottie Rambo was killed early Sunday morning when her private bus ran off I- 44 near Mt. Vernon. Missouri. Highway patrol officials say high winds may have been a factor in the accident.
Here's an update on the condition of others, on the coach, who were taken to St Johns Hospital in Springfield, MO: Dottie's manager Larry Ferguson suffered two broken legs, a broken jaw and other injuries..he is scheduled for surgery Monday.. and is presently listed in stable condition. Ferguson's sons, 8 year old Christian and 3 year old Pierce remain in the hospital with numerous cuts and bruises. Larry's wife, Judy.. was treated and released.
Bus driver.. Ronnie Meadows and product manager/webmaster Chris Barnes remain hospitalized with numerous injuries.. Please pray for all the familes,. and especially for these two men. Our reporter, in Missouri.. says Meadows and Barnes are in critical condition.

Wendy Word + forgiven have been making an impact on the Christian Voice Magazine charts with their latest singles “Lowest Time” and “That’s Enough”. The group’s current Southern Gospel single, “Lowest Time”, reached #87 on the Christian Voice Magazine’s Southern Gospel Top 100 last month.
Wendy Word said, “I am humbled to know that the song I wrote, ‘Lowest Time’, is touching people’s lives. Everything in that song is based on a true story. The people in that song are as real as you and me, and it touches my heart to know that their story is being heard by people around the world.”
In addition, the husband and wife team’s Christian Country single, “That’s Enough”, reached #4 on the magazine’s Christian Country chart.
“It’s always exciting to see that your music is touching lives,” mentioned Tony Word of Forgiven. “God has been so good to our ministry. Thank you to everyone for listening and playing our music!”
The group’s current Southern Gospel single, “Lowest Time”, was released to radio through Rhonda Thompson Promotions. Fans are encouraged to call their local radio station and request “That’s Enough” and “Lowest Time” at both Southern Gospel and Christian Country radio.
Wendy Word + forgiven are in the beginning stages of recording a new album. More information on that will be released soon. Wendy Word + Forgiven is a husband and wife team based out of Sterrett, Alabama. Wendy Word, joined by her husband Tony, travels all across the United States ministering the Gospel through their brand of country-tinged Southern Gospel music. The duo’s current release is entitled Heartfelt and features the hit singles “That’s Enough”, “I Just Feel Like Something Good Is About to Happen”, and “Lowest Time”.

Southern Gospel family group The Walkers are proud to announce the birth of Billy G. Walker, III to Billy Jr. and Angela Walker. Billy III was born on March 11, 2008 at 12:28 p.m. The new baby boy weighed 8 pounds and was 21 inches long. He was born at the Women’s Pavilion Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Billy Jr. said, “Mother and baby are doing great now! We still appreciate any prayers that you may send up on our behalf with a new baby in our home!”
Additional pictures of the new family will be posted on the new Walkers’ webpage – which will be unveiled in the next few weeks.
The Walkers are a full-time evangelism team based out of Perry, Florida. The family group is represented by AMG Capitol, MorningStar Records, and Heaven Bound Talent Agency. The group is preparing for the release of their latest recording this summer.

Singing News has confirmed that legendary singer/songwriter Dottie Rambo was killed in an early morning bus accident. Early reports indicate that the accident may have been weather-related, and that several other passengers aboard the bus were also injured. The family was notified early this morning that the accident happened near Mt. Vernon, Missouri. According to other reports, Dottie's manager, Larry Ferguson, is still unconscious and has two broken legs. Updated Information from Missouri authorities: At 2:19 a.m.,Missouri State Troopers responded to the accident that took place on I-44, two miles east of Mt. Vernon, Missouri. According to the Troopers' report, the 1997 Prevost Dottie was traveling aboard ran off the roadway, struck the guard rail and an embankment. Dottie was pronounced dead at the scene by Lawrence County (Mo.) Coroner Don Lakin at 4:20 a.m. Aboard the bus were Dottie's product manager Christopher Barnes, Larry & Judy Ferguson, their children Pierce and Christian, and driver Ronnie Meadows. Dottie was on the way to a morning concert with LuLu Roman and Naomi Sego at the Fountain of Life Church in North Richland Hills, Texas (Dallas/Fort Worth area). Dottie gave her last concert at Calvary Life Church in Granite City, Ill., on Saturday, May 10. Calvary Life Church Pastor Mark Maynard said: She started the concert with "I'm Gonna Leave Here Shoutin'" and concluded with "We Shall Behold Him." Throughout the evening she made many references to "going home." Dottie said, "God will call me by my real name . . . He knows me, because I know Him." The evening was filled with laughter and tears, as she shared her songs. We were honored to host the concert. Funeral arrangements are pending. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
