Fans, Friends, and Industry Leaders Gather Every Wednesday Evening for “Virtual Prayer Gathering” for Event

BRANSON, Mo. – Things are gearing up for the 2nd Annual Branson Gospel Music Convention which returns to Branson, Missouri next month. Rod and Kelly Burton of YMR Productions, LLC are excited to announce the first round of performers and headlining artists for the annual event.

The following artists are scheduled to make first-time appearances during the week long event: Dino, HisSong, Melody Boys, Ricky Atkinson, Mystery Men Quartet, The Northmen, Buddy Liles, and the newly-formed Freedom (featuring John Rulapaugh and Josh Garner)

YMR Productions, LLC is also very excited about announcing the return of many of the most requested artists from the 2009 event including (but not limited to) the Chuck Wagon Gang, Blackwood Quartet, Kenny Bishop, Young Harmony, Beyond the Ashes, Shannon Bunch, Wendy Word + forgiven, Eric Hinson and Hinson Revival (which began at the 2009 event), McMillan & Life, English Family, Sunday Edition, 2nd Generation, The Roarks, and Ron Brewer.

Kelly Burton said, “Branson GMC began as a ministry event without hierarchy, with one stage for all to share. We’re pleased that new artists are joining us this year and that many from last year are returning. We want every participant to have an experience that encourages them and helps their ministry grow, and we’re excited to give the Branson audience a taste of favorite artists, untraditional artists, new artists, and artists they likely will not see at other major gospel events.”

In addition, several high profile companies and organizations will be present during the event – including Compassion International, AbsolutelyGospel.com (formerly SoGospelNews.com), Sky Angel Network, Gospel Music Today, HIS Choice Music, Mansion Entertainment, Family Friendly Entertainment, Southern Spin Entertainment, SGMRadio.com, SGN Scoops Digital, and many more!

Fans, friends, and industry professionals have all shown their support for the much talked about event – including joining together all around the country at a select time every week for a “virtual prayer gathering.”

Initially the idea of advisory board member Rob Patz (Coastal Media Group), the Branson GMC Prayer Circle was designed so that participants and supporters of Branson GMC have a specific time every week to pray for the work, cause, and people of Branson GMC. The prayer circle has gained support due to ca push by supporters of the event on social media outlets like Twitter and Facebook.

Rod Burton of Branson GMC said, “The focus of Branson GMC is ministry, and it’s no secret that ministry needs to be saturated in prayer. Since we started this endeavor about a month ago, we’ve had a wonderful response, and we’ve already seen the fruits in our family and our work.”

“It was so exciting last year to gather in prayer as a team right at the start of Branson GMC,” said Rob Patz, “and so it seems continuing that unity of focus can only be a benefit. Because of technology, artists and workers from all over the country can gather together for the same good purpose.”

The Branson GMC prayer circle meets every Wednesday evening at 9:00 p.m. CST.
