“The Christmas Season has and always will have the ability to bring out the warmth in peoples’ hearts. Though there are numerous memories and traditions to which I hold dear, it is simply the undeniable joy that is only explainable through the Birth of Jesus Christ that brings meaning to the season.
I had the privilege of growing up in a music loving, God fearing, enthusiastic household, and the holidays were always a time of celebration. Quite often when our extended family would come together for any particular reason, mass sing-alongs would ensue. Christmas was no exception. The memories that I cherish most were the times that our family would find ourselves singing carols around the piano until late into the evening; uncles, aunts, brothers, sisters, and cousins, all together, lifting up the name of Jesus. I treasure those moments with my family and am eternally grateful for the opportunity to have grown up in a Christian household.
