THE STORY

(NASHVILLE, TN) – Difference Media is excited to present their artists during Cornerstone Church’s annual Christmas program. This year, “The Story,” will be broadcast live via internet for all to experience on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at 6:30 pm CST at www.GETV.org. In addition, the program can be streamed online for six days after the event. The Christmas Program, titled, “The Story,” was written by Director of Cornerstone Visual & Performing Arts, John Gross. After more than 30 years of directing the music ministry, which consists 200+ member choir and orchestra, he has taken on the position of directing a brand-new and very exciting department within Cornerstone’s Music Department.

Now under the direction of seasoned keys player, Justin Ellis (The Perrys, The Crabb Family, Aaron and Amanda Crabb), the department is ready to pull back the curtain to show the true meaning of Christmas. Highlights include a powerful “Sing We Gloria” as it sets the stage for all that is to come. Next, Difference Media artist, Sandy Parker, of The Hagees, delivers a stunning rendition of “Tonight” as the star reveals where the Messiah is to be born. Much like her current radio single, A Baby Changes Everything, from the Holiday album, The Hagees: Christmas this song is sure to please.

“Glory to God,” a song originally penned by Matthew Hagee with Aaron Wilburn and performed by The Hagees provokes the listener to contemplate the true meaning of Christmas with lyrics like, “More than a babe, he is the King, He’s the ruler of everything, My fallen soul, He reconciled, Now I’ll sing with the angel choir.”

As “The Story – Part Two” begins, viewers are transported in time as the Magi learn of a star, Mary and Joseph experience tremendous encounters with angels and the Holy Spirit alike, Herod learns of the King, and mankind is given hope.

“Be Born In Me,” sang by Amanda Crabb, is a beautiful and passionate portrayal of the emotions we can only imagine Mary to have been experiencing after discovering SHE would carry the Son of God.

What viewer’s once only experienced as a “bible character,” they will now feel come to life as they watch intimate encounters with the Holy Spirit, moments of total revelation and celebration as well as the fear that come along with a situation of this magnitude.

Tune in on Sunday, December 16th, through www.getv.org to watch a live stream of the night’s performances.
