Gordon Mote’s New Single “The Other Side” Hits Radio

45th Annual Dove Awards - ShowWife Kimberly Joins Gordon on Album Highlight

Franklin, TN (March 2, 2015) Hot on the heels of Gordon Mote’s “#2 Southern Gospel Radio Single, “Meanwhile Back At the Cross,” New Haven Records has released “The Other Side,” the fourth single from Mote’s Dove Award Finalist CD, All Things New.

Produced by Southern Gospel hit-maker Wayne Haun, “The Other Side” is a touching ballad duet featuring Gordon’s talented wife, Kimberly. Gordon reflects, “The past few years, Kimberly and I have had close friends and family who’ve experienced profound loss. Although we would never minimize someone’s grief, the Gospel truth is that we don’t grieve as those who have no hope. Instead, we live in the confidence that one day the Lord will reunite us with those we love and make all things new.”

The theme of redemption and restoration pervades the entire 13-song project, which was produced by Country Music legend Frank Rogers along with selected cuts by multi-Dove Award winner Wayne Haun.

Since its release, All Things New has become both a critical and fan favorite. Breathecast.com raved that listeners should “be prepared for lots of ‘wow’ moments.”

Strictly Country, called All Things New “…one of the most artistically defined albums we have ever heard…the album that we compare all the others to” and highlighting “The Other Side” as one of the cuts that “…truly captured our souls.” Likewise, Soul-Audio and MusicScribe also singled out “The Other Side” as one of the album’s finest moments.

Through the years, Mote has enjoyed a high profile as a featured performer on The Gaither Homecoming Concert series as well as one of Music City’s most celebrated session players—culminating in two recent Academy of Country Music and Music Row Magazine Awards for Instrumentalist of the Year. Since stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist, Gordon has recorded an impressive body of work—three instrumental and six vocal albums—including the Dove Award Finalist All Things New (2014), Dove Award-nominated If You Could Hear What I See (2004), Don’t Let Me Miss the Glory (2007), Songs I Grew Up Singing (2012) and his acclaimed Christmas collection, The Star Still Shines (2012).
