Patton House Entertainment Handling Radio Promotion And Airplay Includes Such Stations As KSBJ, K-LOVE, HisRadio Network

Nashville, TN (January 21, 2010) —- Independent artist, JJ Heller, has scored a major breakout hit with, “Your Hands,” that has broken through at #15 after only eleven weeks on Billboard/R&R’s National Christian Audience chart.  The song is from Heller’s third CD, Painted Red, and was produced by Mitch Dane and written by Dave Heller and Katie Herzig.  Radio promotion is being spearheaded by Matt Ingle, Director of National Promotions, at Patton House Entertainment.

The song first aired on Fox Network’s So You Think You Can Dance and debuted on the Billboard chart at #38 in early November.  The official add date at Christian radio was January 15, 2010 and by that time several powerhouse stations already had, “Your Hands,” in regular rotation.  The stations include such industry leaders as K-LOVE Network; KSBJ/Houston, TX;  HisRadio Network, The Fish/Portland, OR, The Fish/Cleveland, OH, WCVO/Columbus, OH, TheJoyFM/Tampa, FL and KSOS/Las Vegas, NV.

“My wife and I were watching ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ and heard this song,” explains Jon Hull, General Manager, KSBJ Radio.  “We didn’t know who it was but after searching the web we found JJ Heller.  This was a song that I knew KSBJ’s listeners would respond warmly to, so I brought it to our station’s music meeting.  We unanimously agreed that ‘Your Hands’ had everything we look for in a great song – a message that resonates with listeners, a sound that fits our format and an artist performing it who truly ‘get’s it!’”

“It’s a rare moment when a song that is so instrumentally raw, simple and slow-tempo can blow up at radio,” says Ingle, “but the emotion and vulnerability of JJ’s voice presents a ‘real-life’ quality that instantly resonates with listeners. Stations spinning the single cross-country are already getting calls from listeners saying, ‘I don’t know who that was, but it was the perfect song at the perfect time for me.’”

“I’m overwhelmed with the warm reception that ‘Your Hands’ is receiving from radio stations and their listeners across the country,” exclaims Heller.  “I never would have dreamt that God would use my music to encourage so many hearts and lives.”
