Indie Connect To Launch Christian Musicians Club

October 2009  Nashville TN Indie Connect, a company that offers live and online training and networking for unsigned singers, musicians and songwriters, has announced the formation of a new Christian Musician Club. The club meetings will consist of music industry networking, along with a guest speaker discussing a topic relevant to artists and songwriters who have a music ministry.
The club will be led by music industry veteran, Tom Sabella, whose podcast. “The Business Side Of Music”, reaches 100,000 listeners every month. The meetings will be held at 7 PM on the 2nd Thursday of each month, beginning November 12, at Corky’s Ribs and BBQ in Brentwood. The cost is only five dollars.
The guest speaker for the inaugural meeting will be Royce Taylor, a tenor who has sung with the famous Stamps Quartet, a legendary Gospel quartet and one of the backup quartets for Elvis Presley. He also sang with the Vogues, whose hits like ‘My Special Angel’ and ‘Turn Around, Look At Me’ shaped vocal music of the late 70s. He will be speaking on “Communicating With Your Audience: Balancing Showmanship and Message”. All attendees are welcome to join Tom and Royce for a no-host dinner at Corky’s at 6 PM before the meeting.
Indie Connect runs several music industry networking events in Middle TN every week to teach artists how to use their talents to make money, and to connect them with the music industry professionals who can help them. More information can be found at www.indieconnect.net.
