Ripley, MS – Words of Truth Teaching Ministries, Inc is excited to present the Our Only Hope 2016 Conference in Ripley, Mississippi on May 2, 2016. The one-day event will be hosted by First Baptist Church, Ripley.
OUR ONLY HOPE 2016 will feature the music from the award-winning artists, Jason Crabb, Jay Parrack & Vocal Event, and Wilburn & Wilburn and will also feature the dynamic speaking from well-known pastor of First Baptist Church of Woodstock, Johnny Hunt, and humor from the popular comedian Dennis Swanberg. Gerald Crabb, award-winning songwriter and evangelist, will emcee the event.
“The Our Only Hope 2016 Conference is the first event of its kind for the city of Ripley,†Gerald Crabb explains, “It features music, comedy and ministry from some of the most sought after speakers and artists. Ripley is my hometown and I am honored to be the Master of Ceremonies at this great event.â€
Greg Beaty, Associate Pastor of First Baptist Church, Ripley stated: “In today’s time, here in America, we are seeing a lot of turmoil. It is all around us. We truly believe that Jesus Christ is our only hope. This is our theme and is what this conference will be all about. Bro. Johnny Hunt is the former president of the Southern Baptist Convention and is a phenomenal speaker. Dennis Swanberg is a former pastor, a Christian comedian, and a great preacher. The day will consist of preaching, singing and laughing, but most of all our prayer is to turn the focus to the hope we have in Christ.â€
The conference kicks off at 12:30 p.m. with registration, followed by an afternoon session at 1:30. Dinner is served from 4:30– 6:00Â with the evening session immediately following. Tickets are $50 and include all of the sessions and also dinner.
The day promises to be an exciting day of great music, speaking, humor, food and more. Church groups are encouraged to attend as well as other ministers and pastors for a day of fellowship and spiritual refreshment.
