Paul’s Journey is celebrating their 38th year of full-time ministry this year and God’s not through with them yet! Of course, some of you may or may not know that 30 of those years they were called “TheRelations Quartet”. Since the name change in 2008, God has opened so many doors for the group and the “journey” continues on. We at Chapel Valley are very excited about the future of Paul’s Journey!

The last few years have been very special to the group. In 2013, 2014, and again in 2015, they were nominated as one of the Top Five “New Traditional Quartets” in all of America by the Singing News Fans for the Singing News Fan Awards. In March of 2014, they had their very first #1 song on SouthernGospel Radio Charts, “Come Dirty, Leave Clean” written by Rodney Griffin of Greater Vision. It was followed up by another chart topping song called “Everywhere I Go”. We here at Chapel Valley Records are excited to announce their brand new single release, which is another song written byRodney Griffin called “Even Now”. This song is off a new CD project called “Keep Keeping On” that the group is working on with an expected release in the fall of this year.

Many faces have come and gone down through the years like so many other groups out there in the ministry, but it seems God always sends the right people at the right time to do what He has called them to do. Having said that, Paul’s Journey is excited to announce their new tenor singer, “Matthew Esquivel”. Matthew is 21 years old. He was born and raised in Fort Worth, TX and started singing with his family at the age of 5. Down though the years, he learned how to play the guitar, bass, drums, and piano. After graduating high school he joined a local trio there in Fort Worth called KingsRiver, and this is where Matthew started developing his tenor voice. A year later he was asked to join a full-time quartet in Wichita, KS called The Armouraires Quartet. It was while he was there that he gainedvaluable experience traveling on the road full time. Matthew says; ” I am very excited for theopportunity to sing in a well established group like Paul’s Journey! I’m looking forward to what God has in store for me and the ministry of Paul’s Journey. I know Paul’s Journey has so many wonderful

friends, fans, and supporters and I can’t wait to meet you all at our upcoming concerts!” Group owner Rod Treme says; “after interviewing and auditioning several guys, it just seemed like from the get go that Matthew was our guy. He has a good clean sound with a great range. He has a great personality, and even at his young age he seems to be very spiritually connected to God and to the calling on his life.” Matthew will be singing his first concert with Paul’s Journey on June 25th.
