Ray Cooper Relocates to Alabama, Completing New Project

{EHA-Nashville, TN} Ray Cooper relocated to Decatur, AL in March, in order to be near Nashville and work at EHA-Nashville. He has recently been in the studio working on his latest project, “Down Home With Ray.” Friend and producer, Evie Hawkins notes, “The project is just that; down to earth and inspiring.” It includes some of Ray’s favorite songs over the years and some original material. He has dedicated the new CD to his late mother who lost her battle to cancer four years ago. Ray will be singing Sunday, May 27, at 1:00 p.m. at the homecoming services of Lawrence Cove Baptist Church in Eva, AL. Ray will be joined by backup singers, Stephanie Hawkins-Drinkard and Evie Hawkins in his trio, Ray Cooper & Jordon Shore. Ray notes, “Stephanie sang with a trio as a teenager and been recognized on a national level in competitions as a Christian Country soloist, as well.
