  Award nominated group,  The Singing Byrds from Danville, Kentucky are excited as they move into full time ministry in 2014. They have been week-end warriors for many years, they are born again, spirit filled and believe in who and what they are ministering about.  The group consists of Matriarch Anna “Mama” Byrd,  her daughter Jeanie Byrd Bailey,  and son-in-law Ferrell Bailey.  With the release of their second project recorded in Nashville and also the second project recorded on their own label, Rapture Ready Records (Get Caught Up). The CD entitled,  “HOMESICK”  has twelve songs, most of which are built around the title. The first single going to radio is among the three songs on the project written by Jeanie Byrd Bailey,  “You Can Count On Me” was released on Heritage,  Volume 1-2014 the third week in January and at Music to Radio. com the last week of January.  The Singing Byrds were also the Artist Spotlight at Music to Radio the last week of January as well, where they were in the top ten artist for eleven consecutive months in 2013, their recording of “I Firmly Promise You”  was the number one song for the month of February.
