Soles4Souls, the shoe charity, needs help from your congregation to support our upcoming Thanks4Giving program.
This unique event will touch the lives of thousands of individuals during the Fall season, when most of us are enjoying the warmth and safety of our homes, families and friendships. Of course, there are millions of people without any of these, and during the upcoming holidays we are working to provide much-needed relief in an otherwise bleak time. Ever since Soles4Souls started handing out free shoes (both brand new and gently worn), communities across the world have stepped up to help make an impact on the hearts and minds of people in need, whether they are around the corner or around the world. The truth is, our charity can’t reach victims of natural disasters or those struggling to lift themselves out of extreme poverty without the assistance of caring individuals like you, and you have responded in amazing ways.
This Thanksgiving, we invite your congregation to step up and help us harvest 250,000 pairs of shoes for the poor. Americans have over 1.5 billion pairs of shoes in our closets, and it’s time we take the extra pairs and give them to people who will treasure them for years to come.
