Nashville, TN  –Soul’d Out Quartet is excited to announce big changes for 2017. Jason McAtee has been named to the position of lead singer following the departure of Bryan Hutson.
“Soul’d Out would like to thank Bryan Hutson for his five years of service. We will be forever grateful for his time here with the group,” said Matt Rankin, group owner and baritone. “I learned a lot about singing from Bryan. He is a good man and has a heart for ministry. It was our honor to have Bryan,” Rankin continued.
“Jason has a heart for ministering the gospel through music and will be a great addition to Soul’d Out. We are anxious to see where God will take us,” explained Rankin.
McAtee, 26 years old, joins Soul’d Out after serving 10 years at Godfrey United Methodist Church near St. Louis, MO. His freshman solo project, Goin’ Home, will be released in December 2016. Soul’d Out announce that the 2017 tour will include a live band. Rankin gave further details, “The group has been praying about hiring a band for the past three years. It has finally come to fruition and God has answered the call with four great players.” Dusty Barrett, tenor singer, said, “Bringing Jason to the group and a full band will give us the flexibility to follow God’s direction when we are ministering. We are very excited about this new dimension as we bring hope to our audiences.”
