(Nashville, TN)… StowTown Records is proud to announce the signing of the very poplar gospel/bluegrass band, The Little Roy & Lizzy Show.

“First of all, we are beside ourselves! We are so happy to be part of the StowTown Family,” said Lizzy Long. “Like any band, having a good solid record company is one of the best and most important parts of the entertainment business. We believe StowTown will get our music out there to be heard and will represent us in the best way.”
Long is coming off a banner year in 2015, including a GMA/Dove Award for her classic duet with Rhonda Vincent, “God Is There”, that brought home Bluegrass Song of the Year honors. The popular #1 single was written by StowTown Records co-founder Wayne Haun along with Joel Lindsey and was apart of Long’s first-ever solo project, Blueberry Pie, released by Vine Records and distributed by Provident-Sony Distribution.
In addition, the 4-time GMA/Dove Award-winning band, The Little Roy & Lizzy Show, is releasing Good Time, Down Home, its first project on the StowTown label on July 1st.
Country/bluegrass legend Marty Stuart makes a special guest appearance with “Tear The Woodpile Down” and the project also includes the catchy title track,“Good Time, Down Home, Countrified Feeling”.
Good Time, Down Home features a fun mix of traditional country and bluegrass as well as old-time gospel classics like “Unclouded Day” and “Up Above My Head”.
“We are anxious for everyone to hear our new album, Good Time, Down Home, and experience the fun and the heart-warming feelings we get while listening to it,” added Long.
“Jesus Is A Waymaker” is the first radio single from the album.
The brand new project hit all digital retailers including Amazon and iTunes this past weekend during the 4th Annual Little Roy & Lizzy Music Festival in Lincolnton, GA, affectionately known as south Georgia’s largest bluegrass festival.
“Our Festival last week was outstanding! Record crowds!,” exclaimed Long. “I believe it’s one of the best music festivals you can go to that is family-oriented.”
Tickets are now available for the 5th Annual fan-favorite festival set for May 4-6 in 2017.
Good Time, Down Home will be released in stores everywhere on July 1.
