“25 Days of Sharing”- Amanda Crabb

Written by scoopsnews on December 19, 2018 – 4:42 am -

December is a time for sharing. At Christmas, we (Christians) celebrate The Greatest Gift of All, Jesus Christ.

Over the next few weeks we will be talking with many industry leaders, artists, pastors, promoters, etc. and asking them questions.

Question #18  goes Amanda Crabb.

Amanda, you and your husband are an amazing “ministry team.”

What advice would you give on being a successful team in sharing the gospel with your spouse?

MERCY UNVEILS AARON & AMANDA CRABB’S POIGNANT, POWERFUL JOURNEY

Written by SGN Scoops on March 12, 2013 – 3:20 pm -

MercycoverNASHVILLE, Tenn.— Mercy, the fourth recording from Dove Award-nominated singer/songwriters and worship leaders Aaron & Amanda Crabb, is set to bow April 23 from Difference Media (Capitol Christian Distribution). Co-produced by Aaron Crabb and Ben Isaacs (The Oak Ridge Boys, The Isaacs), Mercy features 11 songs revealing a decidedly country direction for the duo, while paying tribute to their storied Southern Gospel heritage and a range of Inspirational influences.

Acclaimed as “Ones To Watch in 2013” by GMCtv online, Aaron & Amanda Crabb co-wrote six selections, including the worshipful “Holy” and the debut multi-format Christian radio single, “Take Him to the Place,” a deeply personal anthem of Hope and healing penned during a trip to Israel.

Mercy is also highlighted by the album’s debut mainstream country single, “I’m Learning,” written by Lee Black, Michael Fordinal and Kenna West. The song has already been embraced by such stations around the country as Winslow, Arizona’s KINO, WEAG in Starke, Florida, and WKRO in Cairo, Illinois, among others.

“We heard it and immediately thought, ‘That’s just us,’” says Aaron Crabb of “I’m Learning.” “We’re learning life as we live it and learning the things that matter and the things that don’t. The most important thing is your family and your relationship with God because things on this earth one day are going to pass away, but He will be forever.”

“We love all styles, so you’ll hear a lot of different influences on the album,” Crabb continues. “I’m a country boy, and those roots probably come through more than anything else. These songs came at the right season in our life. God molded this album and shaped it to what it needs to be and I believe it’s going to help a lot of people.”

Aaron Crabb gained prominence as a member of the groundbreaking Crabb Family, one of the most popular acts in Southern Gospel music with more than 10 Dove Awards and three GRAMMY® nominations to their credit. Since the group disbanded in 2007, Aaron & Amanda have released three acclaimed projects as a duo—2008’s Dove-nominated After the Rain, 2009’s CD/DVD Live at Oaktree, and 2010’s Love With No End. The couple serve as worship leaders at San Antonio’s Cornerstone Church.

Difference Media is a division of Cornerstone Church, founded and pastored by John Hagee. The label features some of the leading names in Southern Gospel music, including Aaron & Amanda Crabb, Canton Junction, Matthew Hagee, Tim Duncan, The Cornerstone Sanctuary Choir, John Hagee and The Hagees. A non-denominational evangelical church with more than 20,000 active members, Cornerstone Church is home to John Hagee Ministries, which telecasts Pastor Hagee’s radio and television teachings throughout America and to 245 countries around the globe. The ministry also operates GETV, a 24/7 online television and video on-demand broadcast of sermons and original programming, as well as music videos and performances by Difference Media artists (www.getv.org).

THE STORY

(NASHVILLE, TN) – Difference Media is excited to present their artists during Cornerstone Church’s annual Christmas program. This year, “The Story,” will be broadcast live via internet for all to experience on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at 6:30 pm CST at www.GETV.org. In addition, the program can be streamed online for six days after the event. The Christmas Program, titled, “The Story,” was written by Director of Cornerstone Visual & Performing Arts, John Gross. After more than 30 years of directing the music ministry, which consists 200+ member choir and orchestra, he has taken on the position of directing a brand-new and very exciting department within Cornerstone’s Music Department.

Now under the direction of seasoned keys player, Justin Ellis (The Perrys, The Crabb Family, Aaron and Amanda Crabb), the department is ready to pull back the curtain to show the true meaning of Christmas. Highlights include a powerful “Sing We Gloria” as it sets the stage for all that is to come. Next, Difference Media artist, Sandy Parker, of The Hagees, delivers a stunning rendition of “Tonight” as the star reveals where the Messiah is to be born. Much like her current radio single, A Baby Changes Everything, from the Holiday album, The Hagees: Christmas this song is sure to please.

“Glory to God,” a song originally penned by Matthew Hagee with Aaron Wilburn and performed by The Hagees provokes the listener to contemplate the true meaning of Christmas with lyrics like, “More than a babe, he is the King, He’s the ruler of everything, My fallen soul, He reconciled, Now I’ll sing with the angel choir.”

As “The Story – Part Two” begins, viewers are transported in time as the Magi learn of a star, Mary and Joseph experience tremendous encounters with angels and the Holy Spirit alike, Herod learns of the King, and mankind is given hope.

“Be Born In Me,” sang by Amanda Crabb, is a beautiful and passionate portrayal of the emotions we can only imagine Mary to have been experiencing after discovering SHE would carry the Son of God.

What viewer’s once only experienced as a “bible character,” they will now feel come to life as they watch intimate encounters with the Holy Spirit, moments of total revelation and celebration as well as the fear that come along with a situation of this magnitude.

Tune in on Sunday, December 16th, through www.getv.org to watch a live stream of the night’s performances.
