Written by Rhonda on August 17, 2010 – 5:17 am -

{Nashville, TN- EHA- Nashville 8/6/10}  The Wilsons have announced their booking agreement with EHA-Nashville. The Wilsons have been in full-time ministry since 1980. Though the five children they raised on the road amidst singing and preaching may have grown and left the group, Marvin and Gracie still have a fantastic ministry together. They were NACMAI’s Duo of the Year 2006 and won the Horizon Award 2007, 2008, and 2009. The latest member of The Wilsons is Sharyn Kay Graham from Phoenix City, Alabama who has won multiple awards as a solo vocalist. In the summer, Hannah Warrick, the 13 year old granddaughter of Marvin and Gracie, travels with the group. She is NACMAI’s Female Vocalist and Female Entertainer of The Year 2009 and has been on stage all of her life. They have graced the stage with countless artists throughout their 30 years.
The Wilsons are thrilled to be working with EHA to increase their existing list of touring destinations. They proudly state, “Regardless of the size of the congregation, we want to spread God’s Word through song and word.” Evie Hawkins of EHA states, “It is truly an honor to me that the Wilson’s have chosen us to represent them. I recently had the opportunity to hear them perform on the Branson Gospel Music Convention stage in Branson, and was moved by their spirit and message. The Wilson’s many years of traveling and spreading that message hopefully will continue on as we look to put them in brand new venues. It’s going to be a blessing!”

Rod Burton Signs Booking Agreement With EHA- Nashville

Written by Rhonda on August 15, 2010 – 1:51 pm -

{Nashville, TN 8/3/10} Successful solo artist and YMR Productions owner, Rod Burton, has announced his booking agreement with EHA-Nashville. Burton co-owns the production company with his wife, Kelly Capriotti-Burton, that produces the Branson Gospel Music Convention. The convention has grown through its second year and rapidly filling up its 3rd Annual artist roster. Burton has continued to gain ground in his solo ministry with Singing News charting song, “Take a Stand,” and recently recorded a new project at Omni Studios on Music Row, with Jason Webb at the helm. Burton’s style appeals to a diverse crowd, bringing his many years of traditional Southern Gospel experience to the project and a fresh Christian Country flavor to his audience. Popular songwriter, Sue Duffield’s contribution, “Son of Man’s Man” and vocals contributed by Russ Taff and others add spice to Burton’s popular new project.

Burton says, “I’m excited to have Evie Hawkins, of EHA, working on new venues for my tour. We are looking forward to a great time in the Lord throughout the U.S.” Hawkins notes, “I have been a fan of Rod for quite awhile. It’s an honor to work with such a talented artist, and working for him in the past as his publicist for New Hope Music Productions was always a pleasure. I think Rod has put together a great team. He has excellent publicity through Southern Spin Entertainment and I’m so excited to be a part of his team. The wonderful reference I can personally give churches and promoters on Rod Burton is that he has not only been fair and honest in our business agreements, but has gone way over and above those agreements. I’m blessed to have been asked to help with Rod’s booking dates.”

Branson Gospel Music Convention Announces First Round of Performers

Written by Scoops Staff on May 5, 2010 – 10:37 pm -

Fans, Friends, and Industry Leaders Gather Every Wednesday Evening for “Virtual Prayer Gathering” for Event

BRANSON, Mo. – Things are gearing up for the 2nd Annual Branson Gospel Music Convention which returns to Branson, Missouri next month. Rod and Kelly Burton of YMR Productions, LLC are excited to announce the first round of performers and headlining artists for the annual event.

The following artists are scheduled to make first-time appearances during the week long event: Dino, HisSong, Melody Boys, Ricky Atkinson, Mystery Men Quartet, The Northmen, Buddy Liles, and the newly-formed Freedom (featuring John Rulapaugh and Josh Garner)

YMR Productions, LLC is also very excited about announcing the return of many of the most requested artists from the 2009 event including (but not limited to) the Chuck Wagon Gang, Blackwood Quartet, Kenny Bishop, Young Harmony, Beyond the Ashes, Shannon Bunch, Wendy Word + forgiven, Eric Hinson and Hinson Revival (which began at the 2009 event), McMillan & Life, English Family, Sunday Edition, 2nd Generation, The Roarks, and Ron Brewer.

Kelly Burton said, “Branson GMC began as a ministry event without hierarchy, with one stage for all to share. We’re pleased that new artists are joining us this year and that many from last year are returning. We want every participant to have an experience that encourages them and helps their ministry grow, and we’re excited to give the Branson audience a taste of favorite artists, untraditional artists, new artists, and artists they likely will not see at other major gospel events.”

In addition, several high profile companies and organizations will be present during the event – including Compassion International, AbsolutelyGospel.com (formerly SoGospelNews.com), Sky Angel Network, Gospel Music Today, HIS Choice Music, Mansion Entertainment, Family Friendly Entertainment, Southern Spin Entertainment, SGMRadio.com, SGN Scoops Digital, and many more!

A full list of artists and organizations that will be present during the event can be found at http://www.bransongmc.com .

Fans, friends, and industry professionals have all shown their support for the much talked about event – including joining together all around the country at a select time every week for a “virtual prayer gathering.”

Initially the idea of advisory board member Rob Patz (Coastal Media Group), the Branson GMC Prayer Circle was designed so that participants and supporters of Branson GMC have a specific time every week to pray for the work, cause, and people of Branson GMC. The prayer circle has gained support due to ca push by supporters of the event on social media outlets like Twitter and Facebook.

Rod Burton of Branson GMC said, “The focus of Branson GMC is ministry, and it’s no secret that ministry needs to be saturated in prayer. Since we started this endeavor about a month ago, we’ve had a wonderful response, and we’ve already seen the fruits in our family and our work.”

“It was so exciting last year to gather in prayer as a team right at the start of Branson GMC,” said Rob Patz, “and so it seems continuing that unity of focus can only be a benefit. Because of technology, artists and workers from all over the country can gather together for the same good purpose.”

The Branson GMC prayer circle meets every Wednesday evening at 9:00 p.m. CST.
