JASON CRABB SCOOPS UP A GOOD TIME

jason icecreamNashville, TN – Country music fans were welcomed to the CMA Music Festival with an extra-special sweet treat yesterday as Denali Flavors, developers of Moose Tracks Ice Cream flavor and Purity Dairy gave away 10,000 scoops of the popular ice cream during their 10,000 Scoops Challenge to raise $10,000 for Michael W. Smith’s Rocketown. Crabb joined celebrity scoopers Joe Diffie and Larry Gatlin among others as they gave away 10,000 scoops of the ice cream to the delight of fans on the first day of the CMA Music Festival in Nashville, TN. “I’ve been working out at the gym here lately,” said Crabb. “But I couldn’t turn down a chance to cheat on my diet a little bit to help my friend Michael W. Smith and Rocketown by scooping and eating some great Moose Tracks Ice Cream! It was an excellent excuse, ha!”

The Roys’ New Single “Still Standing” At Radio Now

Nashville, TN  — Rural Rhythm Records is proud to announce today’s new single release, “Still Standing,” by THE ROYS. This up-tempo Bluegrass song features Elaine Roy on lead vocals and was written by Lee and Elaine Roy. The single has been serviced to Bluegrass radio and is now available in all radio formats via AirplayDirect.

“Still Standing” is the first single release from The Roys’ upcoming new album, NEW DAY DAWNING, due out on Rural Rhythm Records in late August. Their first album on the label, LONESOME WHISTLE debuted at #7 on Billboard’s Bluegrass Albums Chart. The disc boasts two chart singles: “Coal Minin’ Man” and the current hit, “Trailblazer.” The label released music videos for both of these popular songs, and the “Coal Minin’ Man” video was featured on GACTV.com’s Top Picks Channel and on the ballot for Top 20 Country Countdown. Fans can watch the videos on The Roys’ website and on RuralRhythm.com.

THE ROYS  just finished a jam-packed CMA Music Festival schedule that included eight performances and they are booked through the end of the year at festivals and fairs both in the U.S. and Canada. Lee and Elaine have made two national TV appearances this month, including RFD-TV’s Reno’s Old Time Music Festival and the PBS Special, Pa’s Fiddle: Charles Ingalls, American Fiddler. THE ROYS will be guest hosts on WSM Radio 650 AM June 26, 2012 from 2:00 – 3:00 pm CT.

songs and inspiration during “Bluegrass Generations,” hosted by Sharla McCoy of McCoy and Associates. Award-winning Bluegrass duo The Roys joined Ricky Skaggs, Rhonda Vincent, Dailey + Vincent and Jimmy Fortune during a special in-the-round performance for a large group of radio programmers at Nashville’s Tracking Room studio. Each artist discussed their background and musical heroes, and then performed a couple of songs. The one hour event has been packaged for radio.

Nashville, TN – June 8, 2012 – Grammy award-winning vocalist, Jason Crabb, partnered with Denali Flavors, developers of the legendary Moose Tracks Ice Cream flavor and Purity Dairy to participate in the 10,000 Scoop Challenge to give away 10,000 scoops of Moose Tracks ice cream during the first day of the CMA Music Festival in Downtown Nashville, TN. Ten thousand scoops of Moose Tracks was given away on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Nashville, TN with “celebrity scoopers” Jason Crabb, Scott Hamilton (Olympic Gold Medalist Figure Skater), Rhonda Vincent (Award Winning Queen Of Bluegrass), The Roys, and others. For every scoop of ice cream, Denali Flavors donated $1 to Rocketown, a teen center started by Michael W. Smith, with a grand total of 10,000 scoops eaten and $10,000 raised! “We had a great time scooping ice cream,” Jason Crabb said. “To be able to support Michael W. Smith and the work he does at Rocketown by giving away some free ice cream was a lot of fun! I was honored to be a part of the event today and I even ate some Moose Tracks myself!”

GRAMMY-NOMINATED BLUEGRASS ENTERTAINERS OF THE YEAR, DAILEY & VINCENT, MAKE DEBUT APPEARANCES AT CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL

NASHVILLE, TENN. —Bluegrass Entertainers of the Year Dailey & Vincent are preparing for their first appearance at CMA Music Festival, slated for June 9-12 in downtown Nashville.  Their schedule includes an a cappella performance of the National Anthem to begin the CMA Music Festival nightly concert at LP Field on Saturday, June 11, which features Chris Young, Little Big Town, Josh Turner, Trace Adkins, Martina McBride, and Rascal Flatts.
“In the last few years, we were always out of town during CMA Music Festival,” says Jamie Dailey.  “This year we wanted to get involved in all the fun and festivities.”
“We realize that it’s country, bluegrass, and gospel fans who make our career possible,” adds Darrin Vincent, “and we can’t wait to get out and meet as many of them as possible.”
Dailey & Vincent’s schedule is as follows:
Wednesday, June 8
11 a.m. – The 7th Annual CMA Music Festival Kick-Off Parade – The parade begins at 10th and Broadway and travels down Broadway to Riverfront Park.
Friday, June 10
11 a.m. – In-store appearance and CD signing at the Opry Originals Store located at 300 Broadway
Saturday, June 11
