Moving Song About Prayer By Phil Cross

(Chattanooga, TN) Southern Gospel Times would like to congratulate Phil Cross on his latest song. “All I Can Do Is Pray” is a new moving song about prayer written by Phil Cross and Donny Henderson.

The vocal arrangement is by Phil Cross and the music and orchestration is by Cody McVey. Rodney Brooks is currently teaching this new song to the choir at Atlanta First Baptist, the church home of Dr. Charles Stanley.
Phil Cross has spent over three decades in Christian Music. He is a Dove Award winner and has received numerous awards as a songwriter and artist. His songs have risen to the very top of the charts both as a writer and artist. Phil currently is active as a songwriter, mentor, producer, and promoter of other artists.

Harmony Road is pleased to present special Christmas programs, airing the next two weekends on The Heartland Network, theWALKtv, WATC57 Atlanta, www.wmjn29.com and other outlets.  These programs are co-hosted by Scotty Inman and feature the music of The Collingsworth Family, and the Triumphant Quartet. Harmony Road is hosted by Singing News Publisher and Solid Gospel radio host, Les Butler.

Music includes “Mary Did You Know” by the Triumphant Quartet, and a powerful rendition of “Oh Holy Night” performed by Kim Collingsworth on the piano as well as classics including “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year”, “Winter Wonderland” and “Mary Did You Know”.  Harmony Road will feature Christmas music the first three weeks in December. TNN Adds Affiliate WPVN, Bringing Southern Gospel to the Chicago Market

The addition of WPVN means that Harmony Road is now being seen in the nation’s third largest media market, adding millions of potential viewers.

Harmony Road host Les Butler states, “I am excited to hear that Harmony Road is now being broadcast in my hometown. I was born in raised in what is commonly referred to as the Chicago-land area. Southern Gospel has a rich history in Chicago and I’m glad to know that Harmony Road will now be added to that list!”

According to the website www.watchtnn.com, “The Nashville Network (TNN) today announced WPVN – Chicago, IL (DMA 3) as its latest affiliate. WPVN began broadcasting TNN’s programming over-the-air on channel 24.3 last Friday when its new transmitter came online atop the Trump International Hotel and Tower. TNN anticipates carriage of WPVN’s TNN channel via Chicago cable outlets in the near future.”

Cody McVey’s “Symphony” Scheduled For Release

Nashville, TN: Song Garden Music Group has announced that they will release a brand new solo project
featuring Ball Brothers pianist, Cody McVey. Cody, who is well known for his time spent playing for the
Kingsmen, recently joined The Ball Brothers. Symphony is a perfect union of the foundational hymns of
our faith and the incomparable production of legendary producer, Lari Goss. According to Song Garden
Music Group VP, David Staton, “We are excited to have Cody on board and release this project on the
Song Garden label. Typically, instrumental projects in our field are low budget and are pieces that artists
will throw into a package deal in concert, but this project is in a league of its own. It is great to hear
these songs we all know, sound like they belong on a motion picture sound track!”

The official release date is Tuesday, May 29, 2012. The retail price of Cody McVey’s Symphony will be
$15.98. However, fans can pre-order the project at www.songgardenmusicgroup.com between and
May 28 at midnight for a special pre-release price of just $11.98.
