Signal Mountain, TN November 21, 2014, This week’s special Harmony Road TV program features never before seen on TV videos including the concept/performance videos “Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee” from the Akins, Southern Raised with “Grandpa’s Fiddle”, and Tim Livingston’s “I Just Miss You” as well as High Road III and  “How Deep the Father’s Love for Us”  from the Les Butler and Friends DVD from Dugger Mountain Music Hall.

“Over the past two years of broadcasting Southern Gospel videos, we’ve had the honor of premiering several great productions.  This is the first time we’ve been able to present an entire program of videos that have never been broadcast on television” remarked Roger Spears, Harmony Road producer.  “We appreciate all the artists and producers who have the talent and vision to provide quality videos that help spread the Word through music  and are excited to air them to our viewers across the country” he concluded.

Now available to over 80 million television homes across the country in addition to online streaming, ROKU, mobile app and more, Harmony Road is a weekly southern gospel television program hosted by Singing News, Butler Music Group and Solid Gospel Radio veteran Les Butler.

This Week’s Harmony Road Features Sisters, Canton Junction, Legacy Five

Signal Mountain, TN  This week’s Harmony Road television program will include videos from Canton Junction with “Sweeter as the Days Go By”, Sisters with “I’m Sure”, along with Legacy Five and “Newborn Feeling”. The program also features Brian Free and Assurance with “I Want to be That Man” and an exclusive video of Jerry Salley performing “The Broken Ones”

 

Harmony Road’s broadcast week begins on Saturday and continues through the following week. New programs begin airing each Saturday and Sunday. Several stations and affiliates air the program multiple times during the week also, giving viewers more opportunities to enjoy the music and the gospel message it delivers

 

This week’s program originates from Dugger Mountain Music Hall near Piedmont, Alabama. Dugger mountain Music Hall hosts regular concerts and produces a television program that airs on many of the same stations as Harmony Road as part of the Heartland Network. The venue is part of “our Father’s Arms” an outreach ministry based in the area. A special feature of this ministry is included in this week’s episode. Promise” and a remake of the classic Southern Gospel hit “Wouldn’t Take Nothing for My Journey Now” from Canton Junction.

Dailey and Vincent to be in Concert at Bevill Center, Boaz, Alabama

dailyandvincentcloseBoaz, Alabama, Marshall Technical School and the Marshall County Economic Development Council are proud to announce the acclaimed Bluegrass group Dailey & Vincent will be coming to Snead State Community College’s Bevill Center on June 1st. A jam session among local artists will begin at 3 p.m. to help kick off the event. The concert will follow at 7 p.m. Opening the concert will be award winning Canaan’s Crossing. Snead State Community College is located in Boaz, Alabama, making this event easily accessible to Bluegrass/Gospel fans from Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee.

Grammy nominated and Dove award winning Dailey & Vincent recently walked away with several top awards from the SPGBMA where they earned Bluegrass, Vocal Group and Gospel group of the year honors. They are also three time winners of the IBMA Entertainer and Vocal Group of the year awards. Group founders Jamie Dailey and Darren Vincent have won multiple awards through the years. They have performed with artists including Dolly Parton, Ricky Skaggs, Doyle Lawson, Emmylou Harris and many more. They have also been featured on Gaither Homecoming videos.Canaan’s Crossing is a recent recipient of the Group of the Year and Song of the Year awards from Front Porch Fellowship and The Singing News. Their song “Middle Man” was recently the number one bluegrass gospel song on the Singing News Bluegrass charts. Tim Maze of Canaan’s Crossing said, “We are proud to be a part of this exciting event in Boaz.

We have worked with Daily and Vincent several times and know its going to be a great night of bluegrass and Gospel music.” Canaan’s Crossing has recently been seen on national television programs Dugger Mountain Music Hall and Harmony Road.Tickets for this special night of music featuring 2 of the hottest acts in bluegrass are $15 if purchased in advance or $20 at the door. Proceeds from the event go improve programs at the Marshall Technical School and help buy materials for the different shops and programs offered students. All proceeds will go directly to the programs to help to students develop their trades to prepare them for the job market and assist in adding new classes at the school.
