Sponsored by the Southern Gospel Music Guild (SGMG), the annual SGMG Harmony Honors celebrates the best and brightest singers, songwriters, quartets, and groups in this unique American musical genre that has comforted, inspired, and entertained generations of fans.
This year the Harmony Honors recognize gospel songwriters Mosie Lister, Squire Parsons, Ronny Hinson, Rodney Griffin, Phil Cross, and Dianne Wilkinson. SGMG president Judy Nelon noted that many of the songs penned by these writers are now considered classics, and have been recorded and performed by scores of artists in gospel, country, and other genres of music. “It is a privilege to be able to honor this elite group of gospel music’s legacy songwriters,” she said. “Their work continues to inspire individuals of all ages and backgrounds.”

Mansion Entertainment Recording artist “The Mark Dubbeld Family” has recently celebrated a 1 Year Anniversary of Singing Full Time Gospel Music.
Written by SGN Scoops Staff on July 9, 2012 – 2:50 pm -
Nashville, TN – Mansion Entertainment Recording artist “The Mark Dubbeld Family” has recently celebrated a 1 Year Anniversary of Singing Full Time Gospel Music.
In addition to their 1 year anniversary 2011-2012 the Mark Dubbeld Family has garnered two Top 40 Singles including “Nothing But Praise” and “The Reward” on the Southern Gospel Christian Voice Chart.
The Singles “Nothing But Praise” and “The Reward” have also been in the Heavy Rotation on various Singing News Charting Stations released by Mansion Entertainment. With “Nothing But Praise” reaching #1 on WGTJ in Gainesville, GA.
Mark comments further concerning recent events that have transpired. “This past week was exciting as our travels took us back home again to Indiana. I remember, as a boy growing up around gospel music, I would go to hear the Cathedrals, Gold City, Kingsmen, Nelons, and the Perrys at Murat Temple in Downtown Indianapolis and would dream of singing Gospel music. Now as I made my way back to Indy to sing 6 out of 7 days, I remembered the impact of those singers and how God has used them to touch thousands of lives for God’s glory. It is my desire that God will continue to use our family to point all who hear our music to Jesus.”
Mark Dubbeld continues “This year has been a wonderful blessing to our family. We have seen God open many doors and opportunities to share the gospel through song. From singing at he National Quartet Convention, or on the All American Gospel Music Cruise to the Bahamas with the Nelons, Three Bridges, Masters Voice and others to singing in churches and concert venues all across America. God has been faithful to supply for our needs. We are planning a very full year in 2012-13 with lots of new opportunities to come. Be watching for announcements to come in the coming weeks with the help of our new public relations company, Eric Melton of Choice Promotions and Management.”
The latest recording on the Mansion label is titled “On With Praise” with their new single now playing at radio “Inside The Gate”which is currently enjoying radio success.
