AVALON ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM TITLE, NEW HEADLINING TOUR presented by COMPASSION LIVE

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 19, 2019) – For the first time in 10 years, we will hear new music and get a new tour from three-time GRAMMY® Nominated, American Music Award and Dove Award winning recording artists AVALON. The group will take to the road again this fall to support their debut Red Street Records release, CALLED. More information about the new music will be forthcoming soon. Avalon will headline “THE CALLED TOUR” along with special guest Reagan Strange, from NBC’s hit show, “The Voice.”

Red Street Records Logo, presents Avalon tourThe 10-city tour will feature some of Avalon’s most-loved hits including “Adonai,” “Can’t Live A Day,” “Testify to Love” along with new music from CALLED. The group started in 1995 and released 13 records to date, with six Dove Awards and an American Music Award among their industry and fan nods. This dynamic vocal foursome features Greg and Janna Long, Jody McBrayer and Dani Rocca. In the fall of 2018, Avalon announced that they signed as the flagship artist with Red Street Records, a new label launched by Rascal Flatts bass player, Jay DeMarcus.

“We’re so excited to be back after 10 years with brand new music from our upcoming release Called!” says Greg Long. “We are truly looking forward to worshiping Jesus with our longtime friends as well as new listeners as we play some of our biggest songs over the years. Expect a fun night for everyone!”

They are excited to welcome Reagan Strange as their special guest. Strange is a 14-year old from Memphis, Tennessee. She is most recently known for being on team Adam Levine on season 15 of NBC’S “THE VOICE.” “I am so excited for the opportunity to be on tour with Avalon this fall,” says Strange. “A powerful name in Christian music, I am truly honored to share the stage with these four amazing voices.”

Jody McBrayer Returns To Group After 12 Years; Group Welcomes Newcomer Dani Rocca

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (August 29, 2018) – In a video posted to their official website and social media platforms today,AVALON – beloved, lauded and iconic vocal group – revealed ‘the next chapter’ in their decorated career.
With a very quick video – that is sure to garner excitement and further questions from their devoted audience – the group simply announced ‘Hi! We’re AVALON.” In that video, viewers catch a very quick glimpse that reveals two new members Dani Rocca and, after a 12-year absence from the group, Jody McBrayer.
“Greg and I are thrilled to welcome back our friend and brother, Jody McBrayer,” shares Janna Long. “I know our friends will be thrilled to see Jody with AVALON again just as much as we’re ecstatic to share the platfor with him.”
Jody McBrayer comments, “Who would have ever imagined that, after nearly 12 years, I would be a part of Avalon again? I’m always surprised at how God works and so extremely happy and grateful for this new season with them.”

“After we heard her sing for the first time, Janna looked at me and said ‘I love this girl’s voice.’  Very soon, we fell in love with person who is Dani Rocca. I know our friends will love her, too,” said Greg Long.

AVALON is set to record new music together, and details will be released at a later date regarding that project.
The fabulous foursome is set to appear on The Greatest Hits Live Tour this winter alongside Newsong, Point of Grace, Nicole C. Mullen, Bob Carlisle and Rebecca St. James.
As in the past, AVALON will perform a very select set of tour dates as Greg & Janna Long are staff worship leaders at Woodlands Church in Texas and Jody McBrayer performs with Cana’s Voice and solo tour dates.

Harmony Road TV 2017 Season Premieres this Weekend

Signal Mountain, TN (February 1, 2017) Harmony Road TV, the long running Gospel music video program, is set to begin its new season beginning this weekend. The revamped program features new hosts, new music, and a new look. The first of the program’s revolving hosts is Stowtown Records artist, Jody McBrayer.

Music and video on the program include Ernie Haase and Signature Sound (featuring Devin McGlamery) with “From My Rags to His Riches,” and “Good News from the Graveyard,” from Southern Raised. The program also includes “I choose to be a Christian,” from The Erwins and Jody McBrayer’s powerful video, “This is a Son.” All the music this week is from Stowtown Records artists.

Now in it’s fifth season of broadcasting on The Heartland Network, NRBTV, The WALKTV, WATC57 in Atlanta and many more outlets, Harmony Road TV is available to over 90 million homes weekly, across the nation and internationally. Our format, stations, and networks allow us to share this great gospel music, not only with loyal fans, but to those who are new to the genre. Harmony Road TV logoViewers will recognize Jody McBrayer, from one of gospel’s top new trios, Stowtown Records artist, Cana’s Voice, from his time as a soloist, and a member of one of Christian Music’s top groups, Avalon. His video “This is a Son,” is a challenging message to all of us, and is based on his experiences working with homeless through the Bridge Ministry in Nashville.

Beginning with this episode, Harmony Road TV has teamed with Choices of Chattanooga to present a series of messages aimed supporting their ministry, while promoting a “culture of life,” throughout the country. More information on Choices can be found at www.choiceschattanooga.org.

The episode was taped at the Mansion Music studio in Franklin, Tennessee, and was directed and edited by Rob Walls of Varnish Films. Rob Patz of Coastal Media is also a producer at Harmony Road TV. The programs were taped at Mansion Music, Jim Oliver’s Smokehouse in Monteagle, TN, and at the National Quartet Convention in Pigeon Forge (aboard the Harmony Road TV, I-Tour mobile studio).
