SCOTTY INMAN TO CO-HOST THIS WEEKS SPECIAL HARMONY ROAD CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

Harmony Road is pleased to present a special Christmas program, airing this weekend on TNN, The Nashville Network and other outlets. This special program is co-hosted by Scotty Inman of the Triumphant Quartet. These programs feature the music of The Collingsworth Family, and the Triumphant Quartet.
Music includes “Mary Did You Know” by the Triumphant Quartet, and a powerful rendition of “Oh Holy Night” performed by Kim Collingsworth on the piano. Viewers will also enjoy lighter Christmas tunes including “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” and “Winter Wonderland”.
Harmony Road can be found each week on TNN, The Nashville Network on Sunday mornings at 8 Eastern. Radio Single From Tim Livingston Received Well!

single and title track off of the “Here’s A Miracle” project. For the month of November Tim’s single will be in the Singing News Top 80, Christian Voice Country Gospel & Southern Gospel Top 100, Power Gospel Top 100 & Cash Box Top 20. The song has seen “Miracle” acceptance in both the Southern Gospel and Country Gospel genres. It was just announced that it will be the #1 song in both the Christian Voice CG and also in Cash Box for the month of December.
Tim Livingston is the son of the late Norman Livingston a pioneer in Gospel Music Promotions for over 50 years. Today, Tim carries on the legacy of the multi-media ministry outlets that his father founded. Eighth Day Releases Another Winner to Radio with “Because of the Blood”

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – (May 23, 2012) – Popular Southern Gospel trio Eighth Day has just earned another winner at radio with the release of their latest single. The new song – titled “Because of the Blood” – was recently named the second most added song of the month according to the upcoming July 2012 issue of the Singing NewsTop 80 chart.
Joni Robinson of Eighth Day said, “This song has been such a huge part of our ministry of the last couple of years. The message is timeless, and we know that people have gotten behind the song because of its simple message of hope and healing.”
“Because of the Blood” was written by Christie Capps and is the seventh single released from the group’s Absolutely Gospel Music Award nominated project Everything Holy. The group has scored an unprecedented five Top 20 singles off of the album including the #1 hit from last summer – “May I Never Get Over the Cross.”
“We are still in awe at just how much radio has gotten behind our ministry,” mentioned Scott Robinson of Eighth Day. “DJs and programmers have been so kind to us – and we are extremely grateful for them getting behind the music that we have released over the last few years.”
“Because of the Blood” is being promoted to radio by Tony & Kim Hudgins and Spin-N-Motion Promotions. The song can be found on the company’s May 2012 Compilation – cut #1.
Earlier this year, Eighth Day was honored to receive two nominations in the 2012 Absolutely Gospel Music Awards. The group received nominations for Song of the Year and Progressive Song of the Year for their first ever #1 hit from last year – “May I Never Get Over the Cross.”
Eighth Day’s #1 hit from last fall, “May I Never Get Over the Cross,” was named the 2nd most played song of the year according to AbsolutelyGospel.com. The song spent an impressive 4 weeks at #1 and was only surpassed in spins this year by one other song – Karen Peck & New River’s “On the Banks of the Promised Land.”

Voices Won 10th Anniversary Concert Nov 11th & 12th

and 12th in Dalton Georgia. The trio of brothers have work diligently in years past to present unforgettable nights of gospel music in their home-town. This year’s line up promises to do the same. In addition to performances by Voices Won both Friday and Saturday, some of the most well known names in Southern Gospel Music are scheduled to perform at the Crosspointe Christian Centre.
On Friday, the special guests are Triumphant Quartet and Karen Peck and New River. On Saturday, Greater Vision, The Perrys, and Mark Bishop will be performing. Danny Jones of Singing News will be the guest emcee both nights.
Friday night’s concert begins at 7:00 P.M. and Saturday’s starts at 6:00 P.M. Dinner and concessions will be available each night. The doors open at 5:30 on Friday and 4:30 on Saturday.

Daywind Records Celebrates A Great Year With Eight Singing News Fan Awards

Hendersonville, TN (Sept. 29, 2010) –The Singing News held its annual Fan Awards, along with inductions to the Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame, on Wednesday at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN. Daywind artists took home eight of the awards presented, with the Booth Brothers garnering six of the awards.
Recipients included the Booth Brothers’ Ronnie Booth for Male Vocalist and Favorite Lead, Michael Booth for Favorite Tenor, and Jim Brady for Favorite Baritone. The Booth Brothers were also awarded Favorite Trio, as well as Favorite Artist. Libbi Stuffle (Perrys) received recognition as Favorite Alto of the Year while Rodney Griffin (Greater Vision) was once again named Songwriter of the Year for the 13th consecutive year.

Daywind Music Group Captures 44 Singing News Fan Award Nominations

earlier this week, and Daywind Music Group is honored to have received 44 nominations in all.
Nominations covered a wide range of categories and honored groups, individuals, songs, albums, and songwriters. The Perrys led the pack with 11 nominations in all. The Booth Brothers were not far behind with nine. Receiving six nominations were Legacy Five and Greater Vision. Karen Peck & New River garnered four nods. Brian Free &Assurance garnered a nomination in two categories. Pat Barker (Mark Trammell Quartet) was nominated for Horizon Individual. Austins Bridge received a nomination for Horizon Artist Of The Year. Daywind had three Album Of The Year nominations and seven Song Of The Year nods. In addition to artist, song, and album nominations, Daywind Music Publishing writers were also recognized. Gerald Crabb and Ronny Hinson, who are exclusive Daywind writers, each received individual songwriter nods. The other three nominees in that category are Daywind artists, Rodney Griffin, Joseph Habedank, and Jim Brady.
