STOWTOWN RECORDS ANNOUNCES NEW ADDITIONS TO ARTIST ROSTER

(Nashville, TN – November 7, 2012) – Ernie Haase, President of StowTown Records, proudly announces that Dove-nominated music trio, Beyond The Ashes, has signed a recording contract with StowTown Records. The news was shared on-stage during a Nashville, TN area concert featuring Ernie Haase & Signature Sound and Beyond The Ashes.

Haase commented: “On behalf of myself, Wayne Haun, and the entire staff of StowTown Records and Provident/Sony, I want to say that we are excited to announce the signing of a new and energetic group of young guys to our family. Beyond The Ashes joined the StowTown family. Beyond the Ashes epitomizes what we here at StowTown Records are all about: quality gospel music performed with class and wonderful, time-honored traditions mixed with a fresh new approach. We are very proud to be working with this fine group. Beyond The Ashes is now working on their first StowTown Records release slated for spring 2013.”

Additionally, it was announced that Devin McGlamery has also signed a recording agreement with StowTown, and is currently in the studio recording a solo project due in 2013.

Formed in 2010 by Ernie Haase and Producer/Arranger Wayne Haun, StowTown Records has quickly become a leading independent label and is distributed through an exclusive agreement with Provident / Sony Distribution..

The announcement came at a recent standing-room-only appearance where Paul Harkey made his Nashville, TN debut with the group. The energy and excitement could be felt throughout the room as the audience received a “first-listen” to this talented young man. Haase says: “This was one of Paul’s very first appearances with the group and I know he was nervous but you couldn’t tell it at all! All of our Nashville friends and family welcomed him with open arms – just as we’ve seen night after night!”

(Nashville, TN.) September 2, 2011 – StowTown Records (Provident-Integrity Distribution) is proud to announce the release of Part Of The Family from The Collingsworth Family available on September 6, 2011.

Phil and Kim Collingsworth can’t help but smile when fans compare their group to the family singers in “The Sound of Music,” the beloved classic family film. Of course, Phil and Kim only have four children, and are from the state of Ohio, not 1930s Austria. But a family group like this only comes along once in a generation, and when the quality of the music is this rich and timeless, everyone pays attention and tries to find ways to describe them. Ernie Haase, executive producer certainly noticed when they were featured on the Gaither Homecoming tour; he knew immediately that he wanted their compelling and memorable music to be part of the StowTown record label.

As the Collingsworth children have grown into teenagers and young adults, they are becoming award-winning artists in their own right, and Kim Collingsworth is widely known as a show-stopping piano performer. Concertgoers have grown to feel so connected to Phil, Kim, Brooklyn, Courtney, Phillip and Olivia, that they feel almost a “Part of the Family,” appropriately the title of their new CD release. The Collingsworth Family continues to perform all over the world, sharing their story, their music, and their love for God.

The twelve-song project, Part of the Family, was produced by Wayne Haun and features stellar arrangements of songs penned by Bill & Gloria Gaither, Kenna West, Sue C. Smith, Daryl Williams and Lanny Wolf among others. The first single, “Tell The Mountain,” is currently at radio stations across the country.

DOUG ANDERSON, DOVE AWARDS MALE VOCALIST NOMINEE, TO RELEASE SOLO ALBUM, DREAMIN’ WIDE AWAKE, MAY 3 ON STOWTOWN RECORDS

(Nashville Tenn.)  – Doug Anderson, popular baritone vocalist for Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, is set to release his debut solo project, Dreamin’ Wide Awake, May 3 on StowTown Records (Provident-Integrity Distribution). The project, produced by Wayne Haun, features the warm and tender vocals of GMA Dove Awards Male Vocalist nominee Doug Anderson. The ten-song debut project features guest appearances by multiple GMA Dove Awards nominees Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, The Collingsworth Family, and a duet with Charlotte Ritchie. The first single, “Jesus Is Holding My Hand,” is already impacting radio markets across the country and currently holds the #57 spot on the Singing News Top 80 Chart for April 2011.

“This project is about my life, family, friends, hopes, dreams, faith, successes and failures – it truly takes the listener on a musical journey,” states Anderson.

“Our friends across the country have been asking for a solo project from Doug for years,” comments Ernie Haase, executive producer of the project. “Now is the time! He could sing the yellow pages and make you cry!”

On Saturday, April 30, Doug Anderson will celebrate the release of Dreamin’ Wide Awake with a concert at his alma mater, Lapel High School in Lapel, IN. The sold-out concert will benefit the Lapel High School Education and Music Department, the first endeavor for MAD34 Foundation started by Doug and his wife Michele as a way to give back to their community.

Doug says: “It just seems natural to debut Dreamin’ Wide Awake in my home-town where it all started for me. The people and the experiences I’ve had in Lapel molded me into who I am today. Michelle and I are excited to give back to our community.”
