1 What was your favorite dish yesterday?
I actually have 2 favorites. Mom makes the best Mac’n’Cheese and biscuits in the world. Being on the road since I was born, I’ve eaten at more homecomings than I have time to count. At those homecomings I’ve eaten lots of biscuits and Mac’n’Cheese, but my Momma still makes the best.

2 Did you watch any sports?
I did not. Which is a little unusual, because we usually make it a point to catch the game on Thanksgiving.

3 Did you watch the Macy’s Day Parade? No, it gets a little tedious for me. I know lots of people love it, but it’s not really my “glass of tea”.

.

4 Does your family have a tradition on thanksgiving that is special to your family?
We do, and it’s one that Emma and I are particularly fond of. Mom and Dad have gone to get a live Christmas tree together since they started dating (Almost 30 years ago). It’s a tradition they have continued thru the years, and it’s one that Emma and I plan to continue with our families in years to come.

5 Tell us a few of the things that you are thankful for in 2014?
This year has been so amazing. It’s been a year of blessing and opportunity. It’s also been a year of lessons for me. I’m learning slowly the importance of patience, and that His timing is far better than my own. We’ve seen an increase in souls and in opportunities to share His message thru our music. I’m thankful for my family, my friends, the sweet people who support this amazing music we all love, and for my God; who allows me to continue to do what I love.

1 What was your favorite dish yesterday?

Mom’s Dressing/Stuffing

2 Did you watch any sports?

No sports.  UK Basketball is pretty much all I watch!

Christmas Tree 2014

Christmas Tree 2014

3 Did you watch the Macy’s Day Parade?

Yes. Our girls and I watched some of it. We always do when we first wake up on Thanksgiving morning.

4 Does your family have a tradition on Thanksgiving that is special to your family?

Yes. We always put our Christmas tree up that night and our girls help us decorate it . This year, we got it decorated and 30 minutes later it fell to the ground! Not going to make that a tradition though!

5 Tell us a few of the things that you are thankful for in 2014?

I’m thankful most of all that we have and serve a God of Mercy.  Also, that I have the love of my family – my wife and kids.

1 What was your favorite dish yesterday?

This year, my family tried a couple of new dishes. One of my personal favorite was the sweet potatoes!  Rob Patz’s mom’s special recipe!

2 Did you watch any sports?

The guys watched a basketball game while the girls did the dishes. Sound right?
3 Did you watch the Macy’s Day Parade?

We enjoyed watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!  My little girl especially enjoyed seeing her favorite characters “flying” through the air!

4 Does your family have a tradition on thanksgiving that is special to your family?

We have done a few different things through the years, but the past 4 years or so, everyone has come to my house in Tennessee. We rarely have company since we travel so much,  so it’s nice to have so much noise in our home! 🙂

5 Tell us a few of the things that you are thankful for in 2014?

2014 has been an incredible year for the Franks family. We welcomed welcomed a new baby a year ago and we are ministering more than ever. We have seen souls saved and lives changed in 2014. God has truly been great to us!

1 What was your favorite dish yesterday?

The one in front of me with all the food on it.

2 Did you watch any sports?

Yes, football all afternoon

3 Did you watch the Macy’s Day Parade?

Yes, but I’d rather have seen less Broadway and more Parade

4 Does your family have a tradition on thanksgiving that is special to your family?

Yes. First is that we have to play football outside regardless of the weather, and second is that we put up our Christmas tree right after thanksgiving dinner
5 Tell us a few of the things that you are thankful for in 2014?

I am thankful for Gods mercy and grace, my beautiful wife and children.
I am thankful for all my pastor friends that I can call and receive encouragement and support. I am thankful for all the churches that open their doors to me and allow me to fulfill my calling as a soloist. I am most thankful for my salvation and for the Lord’s hand on my life.

What was your favorite Thanksgiving dish ?

1) That’s an easy one…cornbread dressing!  Not stuffing, not out of a box, Moms homemade cornbread dressing.

Did you watch any sports?

2) No sports for me…the only sports fans of the bus are Gary and Jeff, our driver, they keep us more up to date than any of us care to be lol

Did you watch the Macy’s Day Parade?

3) I DID watch the parade, or at least most of it, in between bites lol

Does your family have a tradition on thanksgiving that is special to your family?

4) our only tradition is to eat, much like everyone else’s

Tell us a few of the things that you are thankful for in 2014?

5) I’m thankful that we still live in a county that, for now at least, allows such a day of Thanksgiving, for family and friends, for the guys that i travel with, and for all the many blessings that God gives that are more than im sure I even realize.
