IMC Management Announces Plans For 2015 Christmas Jubilee Tour

Written by Staff on August 20, 2015 – 1:52 pm -

Jubilee Christmas 2015

Jubilee Christmas 2015

Johnson City, TN – Following three straight years of tremendous success, IMC Management has announced plans for the 2015 Christmas Jubilee Tour. The Jubilee Tour features three of Southern Gospel Music’s most recognized artists, The Booth Brothers, Greater Vision and Legacy Five. The 2015 Christmas Jubilee Tour will begin November 30 and feature 15 concerts, with stops for the first time is such Canadian provinces as Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. It has been two years since the Jubilee Christmas Tour made stops along the West Coast, and this year the event will return to Idaho, Washington, Oregon and California.

What began as a light-hearted lunch conversation between three friends, has become one of the most popular concert tours in Gospel Music. Managed and promoted exclusively by IMC Management, The Jubilee Tour brings three of the most popular names in Southern Gospel Music together for a unique and unforgettable concert experience. The event has proven to be very popular in cities across the North America, with sell-out concert attendance in numerous cities in recent years.
The evening allows each group to be featured during the first half of the program, then the second half brings the three groups together for a Jubilee spectacular filled with Christmas classics.  The unscripted and spontaneous format is both entertaining and inspirational, providing audiences with a most enjoyable, must-see evening.
The Jubilee Christmas Tour concerts feature material from the multiple Christmas Jubilee recordings and have delighted crowds throughout the Holiday season. Since that first year in 2012 when the Tour first kicked off, The Booth Brothers, Greater Vision and Legacy Five have been uniting to bring Christmas cheer to Gospel music lovers throughout North America. This year promises to bring more Holiday cheer.
“We are very excited to take the Christmas Jubilee Tour into new territories and  back to the West Coast,” IMC President Landon Beene states. “In 2013, the Tour enjoyed multiple sold out events, which was a first for Southern Gospel Music in nearly a decade, so we know Gospel Music lovers on the West Coast will be excited that the Christmas Jubilee Tour is returning.”
IMC will partner with successful Canadian promoters, Wayne Dyck, Bill Griffin and Don Miller to bring the Christmas Jubilee Tour to Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia for the very first time.  “Western Canada’s Gospel Music fans are enjoying the growth of Quartet style, harmony driven music often referred to as Southern Gospel,” Canada’s Gospel Music Celebration, Inc President, Wayne Dyck, states. “Blooming Canadian groups and fans are encouraging full-time Gospel groups to come to Canada with their music, and we are delighted to play a part in bringing this very powerful Christmas presentation, featuring solid, traditional Christmas centered music to Western Canada. A full production presentation brings the rich meaning of Christmas with lighter moments and powerful traditional music, which is absolutely what this season of the year is all about. We are blessed and delighted to have this meaningful Christmas concert series come our way to give the Christmas season a strong presence in the Christians’ calendar.”
The Western Canadian Jubilee Christmas Tour will be featured on December 1 in Winnipeg, MB, December 2 in Regina SK, December 3 in Saskatoon SK, December 4in Edmonton, AB, December 5 in Calgary, AB and December 9 in Chilliwack, BC.
Tickets will go on sale for all US Dates beginning September 14, with a exclusive pre-sale to IMC and artists email subscribers on August 27.  Canadian dates are ON SALE NOW! Getting Personal With Jim Brady

Written by Staff on January 13, 2015 – 8:51 am -

Jim Brady Trio

Jim Brady Trio

As 2015 began, Jim Brady joined with his wife Melissa and co-singer Tim Parton to form The Jim Brady Trio. Jim sat down with SGN Scoops to talk about the transition from the Booth Brothers to his own group and most of this interview is covered in the January 2015 edition of SGN Scoops. However, because of the length of the interview, we have continued the conversation here. So join us, as we get personal with Jim Brady.

The initiation of the Jim Brady Trio will mean a shift in some of the activities of the Bradys. Jim and his wife Melissa have been putting together marriage counseling seminars and the women’s conference Something Beautiful over the past couple of years. Although the increased tour dates together will cause their schedule to become stretched even more, Jim says they have no intention of putting that part of their ministry aside.

“We’re going to work those in as time will allow. We’ll just do some marriage conferences and some banquets. We do kind of a two-set thing; we do a ‘love song’ set of classic ‘40’s and ‘50’s music that my mom and dad love, and then we have a set where we do original love songs that we’ve written from a Christian perspective. Melissa will also continue her Something Beautiful women’s conference. We will not do it this year due to the starting of the new group but we plan on doing that again in 2016.”

“We’re also going to Norway and Sweden in March.” Brady shakes his head. “It’s crazy when I look at the schedule! I say thank you Lord, I’m thankful that it’s so full but wow, we’re going to be tired. But you know, when we are weak, He is strong. I pray our voices and our bodies hold up. But He’s faithful, He’s there, and we shouldn’t be surprised when He takes care of us because He said He would. I’m really grateful.”

Keeping their own marriage strong is extremely important to Melissa and Jim. “We try to make sure each one is a priority. When we first got married we were together 24 hours a day, we traveled and sang together, everything was together. Then the last 12 and a half – almost 13 – years I’ve been on the road with the Booth Brothers, so I’ve been gone 46 weekends of the year and she’s been home alone. She said, “I really miss you when you’re gone for that long.” I said, “Well, lets start our own group, you’re going to really want to miss me but you won’t be able to,” Jim says, laughing.

Brady says that even when he was home from the road, he was still caught up in the music business as songwriter, engineer and demo singer. “We try to take one day a week and say this is our day for each other. I really tried to make her my priority. I won’t let anything pull me from what’s important and that is ‘us’ and our family and our marriage. She (Melissa) does the same thing for me, even though she works out of our home. She’s a writer for a lot of publications, she also writes songs and sings demos and then does some conferences. What is very cool for us is that she has really organized her time to match my schedule too. So when I’m home she tries to not take on too much, and when I’m gone, she loads up her work schedule.” Read more »

JUBILEE CHRISTMAS TOUR TEAMS WITH SOCK FOR SENIORS

Written by SGN Scoops Staff on October 16, 2014 – 10:03 pm -

Socks for Seniors

Socks for Seniors

(NASHVILLE, Tenn) The Jubilee Christmas Tour, featuring award-winning Christian artists The Booth Brothers, Greater Vision and Legacy Five, is bringing a heart-warming Christmas concert to twelve cities this December, and they want your socks! After hearing first-hand the needs of many shut-in seniors during colder months, the artists and promoters of this exciting musical Christmas tour decided to partner with the national organization, Socks for Seniors, in an effort to collect and distribute warm socks to area seniors.

Gerald Wolfe of Greater Vision states, “Many of the folks that come to our concerts either know people through church, their community or even people in their families that are shut-ins or in nursing homes. We’ve learned that as it gets colder, something as simple as warm socks for these precious people can make all the difference in their comfort. We talked with the guys and decided we want to help make this Christmas season a little warmer for others, and that’s what sparked the idea.”

Tour promoters, Landon Beene and Brian Hudson (IMC Concerts) are working with Socks for Seniors to coordinate collection, distribution and some special appearances by the artists to deliver socks.

Concert attendees are encouraged to bring new, warm socks to the Jubilee Christmas Tour event in their area. Socks will be collected on-site at the concert and distributed to area seniors. For a complete listing of the Jubilee Christmas Tour dates – 12 Days of Christmas and ticket information, visit www.jubileechristmas.com.
