The Lefevre Quartet Announces Two New Members

The Lefevre Quartet Announces Two New Members

The LeFevre Quartet is excited to announce two new members to the group’s lineup. Mike and Jordan LeFevre welcome Jay Parrack as their new tenor singer and Will Lane as their new bass singer. Parrack’s roots run deep in the Southern Gospel genre. Jay sang tenor with Gold City for over ten years and left the road at the top of his game after being voted the Singing News Favorite Young Artist five times and Favorite Tenor twice at the Singing News Fan Awards. Jay’s father, Johnny Parrack was a featured singer with Kingsmen Quartet for most of his career. Lane’s phenomenal bass singing has been a staple in the gospel circuit for over a decade.

The duo replaces Jeremy Peace and Keith Plott in the group, and both will be missed. “Jeremy Peace and Keith Plott have both been valuable parts of the LeFevre Quartet for the last several years. Jordan and I will always cherish their contributions to our ministry as well as their friendship,” says Mike LeFevre. “However, change is inevitable, and we are thrilled to announce that Jay Parrack and Will Lane will be joining the LeFevre Quartet.”

The group continues its highly successful relationship with New Day Records, a division of Daywind Music Group. “We are excited to work with the LeFevre Quartet’s new lineup on upcoming music to release in 2020,” says Scott Godsey, Vice President and Director of A&R for New Day Records.

New Day Records is a division of Daywind Music Group and home to the Lefevre Quartet, Tim Menzies, HighRoad, Griffith Family, and The Sound. The label is distributed to retail through New Day Christian Distributors, covering all major physical and digital outlets.

“25 Days of Sharing” at SGN Scoops- Keith Plott

Written by scoopsnews on December 2, 2018 – 5:19 am -

December is a time for sharing. At Christmas, we (Christians) celebrate The Greatest Gift of All, Jesus Christ.

Over the next few weeks we will be talking with many industry leaders, artists, pastors, promoters, etc. and asking them questions.  They will “share” the answer to the question in 10 seconds or less. We are asking for their best advice on many different topics.

Question number 2 went to bass singer, Keith Plott.

Keith, You have been hitting those low notes for a long time! What advice would you give a young bass singer on hitting notes in 10 seconds or less?

Check out the answer below:

Jordan and Mike Lefevre

From Jordan:

I just want to take a moment and tell everyone who has called and texted about my dad Mike LeFevre, thank you so much for you love and support! I apologize if I haven’t been able to get to every phone call or text but I have tried to answer everyone as time would permit! Dad has had quite a long day, he started the day with a lot nausea and couldn’t get any relief so after fighting it most of the day he finally let me get him to the hospital. After several test it has been determined that he has Acute Pancreatitis, they have admitted him and will be keeping him through the next few days to monitor him. The test will resume tomorrow morning. My mother is on her way from Gainesville to be by his side, and myself and the group will be continuing the schedule this weekend. Please keep us all in your prayers, I’ll sure miss singing beside my best friend this week, but he surely needs the rest! Thank you again, love you all!!

The LeFevre Quartet Welcomes Jonathan Epley as New Bass

Gainesville, GA – Mike LeFevre is excited to welcome Jonathan Epley as the new bass singer for The LeFevre Quartet. “We are thrilled to have Jon joining The LeFevre Quartet. He brings not only years of experience, but a beautiful bass voice and a sincere heart for God.”

Singing gospel music has been a lifelong experience for Jon. He grew up traveling and singing with his family in churches, camp meetings, revivals and gospel singings. He then traveled in evangelism for several years, singing with his wife, Tiffany, and preaching. Jon sang with The Inspirations from Bryson City, North Carolina, for five years and most recently was known for his time with The Ball Brothers of Chickamauga, Georgia. Jon and Tiffany currently reside in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Jon stated, “I am so excited to be joining The LeFevre Quartet. I have been a fan of Mike LeFevre for many years, and feel that joining the vocal lineup of Mike, Jordan, and Jeremy can yield great things for the glory of the Lord. The guys and their families have welcomed my wife Tiffany and myself with open arms, and that means the world to us! Their heart for the Lord, ministry, and family is an inspiration. We are looking forward to what is in store, and are extremely grateful for this opportunity.”!

Please join us in welcoming Jon to The LeFevre Quartet family!
