Gordon Mote Honored with 11th Nomination from Academy of Country Music Awards

Nashville, TN (January 30, 2014) —- The award-winning musician, singer and songwriter, Gordon Mote, has been honored with his 11th nomination from the Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards. Mote is nominated in the Piano/Keyboards Player of the Year category. He has won two previous ACM Awards in the same category in 2011 and 2009. The 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV on Sunday, April 6th at 8:00 pm EST on the CBS Television Network.“It is an honor to once again be nominated for this prestigious award,” says Mote. “There are incredibly talented country players in Nashville and it is gratifying to be in such great company.”
At the same time, Mote has also garnered five nominations from the 2014 Absolutely Gospel Music Awards. The categories include; Album of the Year (All Things New), Musician of the Year and Country Recording of the Year. Nominees were chosen by the staff of AbsolutelyGospel.com and select media representatives. Starting on February 1st, fans will get a chance to vote for their favorites in certain categories. The Awards celebration will take place on Tuesday, April 15th in Nashville, TN.
