“I’llFly Away Foundation” Tuesday Night Showcase Slated for July 31, 2012

{EHA-Nashville, TN} The Davis Family, Randy & Wendi Pierce, ChristySutherland, Mike Scott, Three Bridges and more are slated to appear at the July31, Tuesday Night Showcase in honor of Patrons to the “I’ll Fly AwayFoundation.” The concert venue is Cowan Civic Center in Lebanon, MO starting at7:00 p.m. Patrons of the foundation receive free admission and the public willpay $10.00.  The Brumley Sing followsthis kick-off event on Wednesday night and will take place at the same location.For more info on the Tuesday Night Showcase and the “I’ll Fly Away Foundation,”contact: Betsy Brumley: 479-696-9876

More info: Albert E. Brumley’s songs have been sang, recorded, and publishedall over the world. This year, the Brumley’s celebrated an 80 year birthday ofthe most recorded song, “I’ll Fly Away.” Albert E. Brumley’s son,Bob, was inducted into the Southern Gospel Hall of Fame in 2011 and continuesto carry the torch for the family heritage. Bob’s daughter, Betsy, was namedChairman of the Board for the I’ll Fly Away Foundation. The Foundation’smission is to carry on the Brumley heritage by providing scholarships andlearning experiences for youth to pursue their dreams in Gospel Music. TheTuesday Night Showcase opens the Brumley Sing week and fans come from all overthe country each year to be a part of this special event that features popularSouthern Gospel artists.

EHA Artists Performing on “I’ll Fly Away Foundation” Showcase

{EHA-Nashville, TN} I’ll Fly Away Foundation Chairman, Betsy Brumley, announces this week an artist showcase on Tuesday, July 31 at the Cowen Civic Center in Lebanon, MO during Brumley Gospel Sing week. The Brumley Sing is slated for August 1, 2, 3, & 4. The showcase will feature two award-winning groups managed by EHA-Nashville; The Davis Family of Washington, MO, and Randy & Wendi Pierce of Tulsa, OK. The showcase also features the phenomenal Three Bridges, sensational, Christy Sutherland, and award-winning soloist, Mike Scott. Paul Heil on Gospel Music Today

Paul Heil of The Gospel Greats radio program is the guest on the current edition of Gospel Music Today. The Feature Group is Ken Turner and Valor III, and Ken and Jean Grady host southern gospel news and concert updates. Ken and Jean visit the Civic, in Neosho, MO, to hear The Missourians sing. Jean reviews a new CD by The Davis Family, and the show features singing by The Freemans and a vintage video by The Rusty Goodman Family. Davis Family Awarded USAGEM “New Artist of the Year” in Nashville Ceremony

EHA-Nashville, TN} Manor House/Mansion Entertainment recording artist, the Davis Family, won the “New Artist of the Year” title at the Annual USAGEM Awards Show today. The trio has traveled regionally in the Mid-West area until this past year, when they took their music ministry to Nashville. Many doors continue to open for the group who have recently sang on stage with renowned, Alllison-Durham Speer, Sunday Edition, Mark Brown, and many more. Davis Family Takes Part In USAGEM July 22

{EHA-Nashville, TN} The popular Davis Family of Washington, MO will be a part of the USAGEM “God & Country Jubilee” concert line-up Friday, July 22, 6:30 p.m. at the Texas Troubadour Theatre on Music Vally Drive in Nashville. The group has experienced many blessings in their music ministry this past year, with a new release through Manor House/Mansion Entertainment entitled “It’s Just Love.” David and Rosemary Davis have been traveling and singing a lifetime and the group enlarged as daughter Becky Davis-Short, her children, and lifelong friend, Chuck Slankard, were added as members. Becky Short recently appeared in the “Sunday Mornin’ Country” concert as a member of the “Country Chorale” at the Grand Ole Opry alongside many legends. She won 2nd place in the His Choice Music Talent Search in 2010. Rosemary Davis has published a book about their life and music ministry. USAGEM Announces 8th Annual Convention and Award Show

{EHA-Nashville, TN} Mike Gardner, President of USAGEM, (United States Association of Gospel Entertainers & Musicians) announces the 8th Annual Convention and Awards Show to take place at the Texas Troubadour Theater in Nashville, TN, November 18 & 19. Gardner notes that more information will be announced within the next few weeks. The next upcoming “God and Country Jubilee” concert will be held at the theatre Friday, July 22, 6:30 p.m. and features several music ministries, including the Manor House/Mansion Entertainment recording artists, The Davis Family of Washington, MO.
