We are very excited to present September 2011 Scoops Magazine!  Our theme this month revolves around the faithfulness of God.  September’s issue is jammed packed with news, inspiration and a lot more! We are celebrating “gold” with the Hoppers as they celebrate 50 years of marriage and over 50 years of ministry. We are also featuring Wilburn and Wilburn, Tribute Quartet, Hannah Webb and the Journeymen.  This issue includes a fan concert review of the Mark Trammell Quartet, new music reviews on The Collingsworth Family, New Ground, Mike Upright and the Stephens. The Hallelujah Supper Club is remembered, the Grand Ole Gospel Reunion is highlighted plus a whole lot more!

Special thanks to our entire Scoops staff for a magazine well done! Enjoy this month’s magazine and share with your friends! Click Here

The Journeymen Welcomes Two New Additions

Written by Rhonda on October 18, 2010 – 1:40 pm -

The Journeymen are excited to announce that Jason McSweeney of Huntington, WV has accepted the position of bass singer. Jason is 27 years old, and is thrilled about singing in his first full time group.
Along with Jason, the Journeymen also would like to welcome Corey Laney of Alkol, WV as their new baritone. Even though Corey is just 17 years old, he is no stranger to gospel music. Prior to joining The Journeymen, Corey has had the opportunity to  travel with other gospel groups and have his own solo ministry.
Big John Bledsoe is excited  for audiences to hear and experience this young and talented team, as they continue the same traditional values the quartet has held since 1957.
