Master’s Promise Surprises Fans With Double-Album Debut

TRENTON, Mich  – At the official release concert for their highly anticipated release Still the Blood on February 3rd, 2018, Master’s Promise astounded their fans by premiering not only the long-awaited mainline album, but by also unveiling a second project the group had been working on in secret, entitled Repainted.

Still the Blood, the power-packed debut of Master’s Promise new mixed trio sound, features brand-new music that carries the listener through the Gospel’s story of hope and redemption from the very first note of the worshipful anthem, “Father We Come” to the heart-stirring ballad “You Don’t Know.” Highlighting songs from the pen of the group’s own Rachel Lynn Sancricca and including songs from writers such as Dixie Phillips, Karen Gillespie, Matthew Lawson, Randall Garland, and more, for Master’s Promise fans, Still the Blood was worth the wait.

Repainted, a collection of Gospel favorites from years past redone in a signature Master’s Promise style, was created by the group as a surprise thank you to all of their loyal supporters. Featuring songs such as “I Believe He’s Coming Back,” “Sweet By And By,” “Through It All,” and “This Is Just What Heaven Means To Me,” the album presents a tribute to the heritage that has inspired the group over the years.

“Typically, an artist will name their tour after their album—but in our case, our album was created for our tour. The concept of being ‘repainted’ came to us through the creation of our mainline project Still the Blood as we began to unpack what it means to be totally redeemed and made new by the blood of Christ. But as we created our presentation and tour for 2018, we began to realize that there were some things left unsaid,” Sancricca states.

For one, Master’s Promise wanted to say thank you. 2017 was a huge transition for them, and they felt nothing but love, support, and prayers as the face of the group was about to completely transform. They also wanted to make a statement about their roots—who they are, and where they come from. Here, they had this bold new mixed-trio sound, new look, new everything—and yet, it’s the same message it has always been. Repainted is their way of letting everyone know that God may change the look, sound, and presentation; but the group still sing the same beautiful, life-altering Gospel that those who came before them paved the way for them to sing.

Master’s Promise Announce Release of Still The Blood with Repainted Tour

TRENTON, Mich. – Up and coming Gospel trio Master’s Promise expects great things for February 3, 2018. That Saturday will see the release of the group’s latest recording and start date for the hotly anticipated tour in support of the release.

The group’s new recording, entitled Still The Blood, is the follow-up to the group’s breakout debut Choices. That recording spawned off several charting singles and earned the group its first ever Absolutely Gospel Music Award nomination last week. Still the Blood is also the debut recording with new vocalist Jamie Streeman.

“As I was writing for the album, I began to notice a common thread that ties all of the songs together—the Blood of Christ. I then quickly realized that the Blood is the thread that ties together everything we’ve ever done. It’s the heartbeat of our ministry, and the life to the message we bring,” shares Rachel Sancricca, writer of five of the ten songs on the album. “Our lives have been in one big season of change for over a year now, and during that time, writing these songs brought me so much peace and comfort. Even in the face of positive change, fear would still rise up to challenge my faith. And it was through that battle that Christ armed me with the Truth I needed to be victorious: Jesus Christ never changes, yet He changes everything. I found Him to be my constant, while at the same time, He was the orchestrator of the constant change in my life. And more importantly, in my heart. His Blood has not lost its Power. It still conquers fear, defeats death, and washes away all shame. It is always faithful—and sometimes that means washing away everything we know, to make something new.”

The breakout group will also launch its Repainted Tour in support of the new project on February 3, 2018. It will also mark the first official concert with new member Jamie Streetman. Since the official announcement of the former Paul’s Journey lead singer’s addition to the group, anticipation has been rising, in hopes of new music from one of Singing News Magazine’s Favorite New Artists of 2017.

Now with a confirmed new album, with the launch date soon approaching, 2018 is gearing up to be a groundbreaking year for Master’s Promise.

Master's Promise Announces Exciting Changes

Master’s Promise Announces Exciting Changes

Nashville, TN (September 1, 2017) After nearly 5 years with the group, Katelyn Montgomery has announced her departure from Master’s Promise, following the trio’s last performance in December of 2017. The group made the announcement via video posted to their Facebook page on August 30. In the video, Montgomery shares that in October of 2016, she made the decision that 2017 would be her last year with the trio, as she is seeking to finish her bachelors degree in business marketing, as well as to pursue mission work.

After being given the news of Katelyn’s departure, Hannah and Rachel Sancricca began to pray and seek the Lord as to the next step for their ministry. As God would have it, the answer would be found close to home–yet on the other side of the country. After a long season of prayer, Rachel’s fiancé, Jamie Streetman, current lead singer of Paul’s Journey, made the decision to uproot to Michigan to join Master’s Promise
“When Katelyn gave her notice in October, Rachel and I weren’t engaged yet, but I already knew that 2017 was the year that I would propose,” Streetman says. “With our long-distance relationship, we had to think long-term. So, following Katelyn’s news, we started having those conversations… If we got married, would she move to Texas? Would I move to Michigan? As we were praying about everything, that’s when the Lord started to really work on my heart and put things in motion. He showed me that this is where I need to be.” The two were engaged in March, and will be married in May of 2018.
Members of both Paul’s Journey and Master’s Promise have support one another fully as this transition takes place. “I want to take this time to wish Jamie and Rachel a blessed future together,” says Rod Treme, owner of Paul’s Journey, in a video posted to the Paul’s Journey Facebook page.
“We are so blessed with such camaraderie on all fronts in this time of transition. We love and support Katelyn in all of her endeavors, and are so thankful to have had the privilege of serving with her for almost 5 years. I am also very grateful to Rod, with Paul’s Journey. He has been good to Jamie and I, and his blessing on this new season for my fiancé has been such an added peace!” says Rachel.
Jamie will complete his last date with Paul’s Journey in October, and will join Rachel, Hannah, and Katelyn this December for this year’s Christmas tour. Starting in in February of 2018, Rachel Sancricca, Hannah Sancricca, and Jamie Streetman will begin travel as the mixed family trio, Master’s Promise.
