Daywind Music Publishing Continues To Expand Roster
Hendersonville, TN – Daywind Music Publishing has added songwriter Janice Crow to its ever-growing family of award-winning talent.
A regular attendee of Sue Smith’s Write About Jesus conference, Janice Crow burst onto the scene approximately six years ago when she won the writing competition that led to a variety of open doors within the songwriting community. Those opportunities included song pitches to prominent music publishers, as well as co-writes with some of the leading writers in the genre. A writing session with Lee Black and Sue Smith led to the creation of a choral anthem entitled “The Name,” as well as the song “Amazing God,” that would go unrecorded for several years. In 2015, the song found a home with Triumphant Quartet, who took it to #1 on the Singing News Chart, and was awarded Song of the Year by the Singing News Fan Awards. With her increasing momentum, Janice was a natural fit into the Daywind roster of exclusive staff writers. To bring the story full circle, she signed her contract with Daywind Music Publishing during Write About Jesus, exactly six years after she won the songwriting contest.

In addition to Janice Crow, Daywind Music Publishing has signed songwriting agreements with a number of talented writers this year, including Lee Black, Tim Lovelace, Devin McGlamery and Brandon Sharp. Award-winning writers Dianne Wilkinson, Sue C. Smith, John Rowsey and Belinda Smith have all extended their relationship with DMP.

Prayers for Devin McGlamery Family
Written by scoopsnews on October 11, 2016 – 9:22 am -From Devin:
Monday evening was by far one of the hardest days of my life. My daddy, my mentor, my well of wisdom, and my friend went home to be with Jesus.
Knowing where he is does occasionally bring a smile, but not having him here to see everyday or to call for advice already scares me so much.
I cherish every memory that constantly comes to my mind. I love the fact that the past 2 years he has seen my children practically every single day and attended church with us on Sundays.
This past Sunday night he got to come hear us, Ernie Haase and Signature Sound, in concert at our church where, to our surprise, Ernie called Karlyn up to sing a song as well.
Dad sat near the back (as always) smiling and singing along to pretty much every song.
We had no idea what the next day would hold, but I am thankful for that memory as well as so many others.
After telling my kids the news about their Papa being in Heaven, Preston’s response was…”now he gets to see pepaw (Karen’s grandfather) and Mossy(our doggie) and Pastor David.” He continued on with others he knew were in Heaven. This time I had tears of joy.
My family and I covet your prayers in the coming days, weeks, and months.
We at SGN scoops are praying for the family.

Written by SGN Scoops Staff on October 22, 2013 – 10:54 am -(NASHVILLE, TN) – The evening of Tuesday, October 15, 2013 was quite exciting for Devin McGlamery, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound and StowTown Records! During a special ceremony at the 44th Annual GMA Dove Awards, “From My Rags, To His Riches” was awarded “Country Song of The Year.” The song, performed by Devin McGlamery with Bluegrass powerhouse duo Dailey and Vincent, from the StowTown Records release, Love Is A Verb, has resonated with audiences across the country with the theme of forgiveness and grace. Songwriters Ernie Haase, Wayne Haun and Joel Lindsey also received awards for composing the song.
To say I am beyond excited is an understatement,” exclaimed Devin McGlamery. “All I’ve ever wanted to do was sing Gospel music. To be honored by my peers with a Dove Award is extremely humbling. I praise Jesus Christ, my Savior, for all His blessings!”
Ernie Haase commented: “I met Devin McGlamery as a young teenager who wanted to do this more than anything! I knew then that one day, he would achieve great things. I am very proud of him.”
“It was an honor for our group to pay tribute to one of my personal mentors and friends,” shared Ernie Haase. “For years Bill Gaither has invested into the lives of others and it was a very special moment to be able to pay a small tribute to the man who has done so much for Gospel music and the kingdom. We love Bill Gaither!”
