Ernie Haase & Signature Sound’s performance of the National Anthem has become a viral hit, with over 550,000 views of the video, shared on Facebook live. The talented group performed the anthem during the NASCAR Folds Of Honor QuikTrip 500 held this past Sunday, February 25, 2018, at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. The anthem and race were broadcast live on the FOX Television Network.

Paintsville, KY (September 12, 2017) – Johnson County native, Marlana VanHoose has been invited to sing the National Anthem at the Thursday, September 14, 2017, Cincinnati Bengals game at the Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, OH. The announcement was made from VanHoose’s home located in rural Denver, KY.

“I love this country. It is a complete honor to be chosen to honor my country on this platform with the National Football League. I’m a huge Bengals fan”, said VanHoose. The Bengals will host the Houston Texans for a Thursday Night Football game set to kick off on the NFL Network at 7:25 p.m. EST.

VanHoose’s dynamic voice has won her invitations to some of the largest sporting events in the United States. The Kentucky native first won the hearts of fans when she performed for the University of Kentucky’s Women’s Basketball team in 2012.

Jason Clark, Producer and Co-Founder of CNS Entertainment, also a longtime member of the GMA Hall of Fame group, The Nelon’s, is VanHoose’s producer and biggest fan. “It’s not often a music producer gets to work with such a unique and special artist as Marlana. Her voice is as big as her heart and her story will be heard and seen by millions more leaving a wake of inspiration in her path. Expect to hear much more from this little dynamo in the future,” Clark replied when learning of the invitation.

ABOUT Marlana VanHoose:
Marlana was born with Cytomegalovirus (CMV), by the time she was a few weeks old it was discovered that she was blind. Her optic nerve never formed. She was not expected to live past one year. At the age of two, Marlana was diagnosed with mild cerebral palsy.

But God knew better, He had special plans for Marlana. After Marlana turned a year old her body healed from the virus and that is when it all began. Marlana was humming “Jesus loves me” before she talked and by the time she was two years old she started playing the piano.

Marlana has sung all over the United States at various events & churches. Most recently Marlana was honored to sing at the Presidential Inauguration including the National Prayer Service at the National Cathedral. She was discovered when she sang the National Anthem at a University of Kentucky Women’s Basketball game in 2012. This was placed on YouTube and the video went viral. Since then, CBS evening news aired her story, she has sung at multiple NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Races, NCAA women’s basketball tournaments and at several NBA basketball games as well as many other events & churches across the USA. She also has sung for the 2015 NBA Playoffs including the 2015 NBA Finals, Game 6. ESPN-E-60 aired “Loud and Proud” a story about Marlana and the UK women’s basketball. Marlana appeared on the Atlanta Live Gospel Show and Babbie’s House, a gospel show in Atlanta, GA. She also has appeared on various other shows such as Inside Edition & Entertainment Tonight. Marlana also had the honor of singing at Carnegie Hall in NY City. Marlana has been commissioned a Kentucky Colonel.

Marlana has invited Jesus into her heart and has been baptized. She loves God very much and says she has no need to see here on earth. She knows that when she gets to Heaven, Jesus will be the first face she’ll see.

The Twenty-first Annual ICM Faith, Family & Country™ Awards (also known as the ICMs) were held Thursday, October 22 at Cornerstone Nashville. The list of artists appearing included John Anderson, T. Graham Brown, The Roys, and Miss Tennessee USA Hope Stephens, among others.

The fabulous McDougal Kids were invited to sing the National Anthem, which they performed a capella in their unique style.
