Host of This Week In Gospel Music, Mickey Bell, Moving On
Written by Staff on October 15, 2015 – 2:19 pm -Nashville TN (October 16, 2015) – With every endeavor there will always be moments when tough decisions have to be made. Such is the case when it comes to Mickey Bell turning over the reins of his syndicated radio program, This Week in Gospel Music. The new hosts will be Troy Peach of The Perrys, and Taylor Guffey.
“It’s a tough decision but I know for the show to grow and become what I feel like it can be, I have to let it go and put it into hands that are able to take it to another level,” says Mickey. “We always want to question God’s timing and how He works, but I feel this is the right time and the right move for the show and for me.”
Troy and Taylor taking up the reins with excitement. “Taylor and I are thrilled for the opportunity to host This Week in Gospel Music,” says Troy. “I’ve always had a heart for radio, so it will be good to get back in the DJ chair. We plan to offer Gospel music fans a fresh, inside look at the world of Gospel music and play the greatest music on the planet, Southern Gospel Music! You never know just what might happen. You’ll have to tune in to find out!”
“I am thrilled to be able to co host This Week In Gospel Music with Troy Peach,” says Taylor. “This show is going to be a blast. Mickey has done a great job laying the ground work, and we are looking forward to building on what he has accomplished. This show will most definitely be an adventure, so be sure to tune in each week!”
Troy and Taylor will take over all aspects of the show, including producing the two-hour program that will be available each week to stations worldwide. The show will continue to be available via the show app at www.ThisWeekinGospelMusic.com
