THE BEENE FAMILY SETS DATE FOR FAREWELL PERFORMANCE

Kingsport, TN – After nearly 14 years of traveling and singing on the road, The Beene Family is saying goodbye to full-time touring.  The California natives transplanted to Tennessee to follow their dream and calling to sing Southern Gospel Music several years ago, and have enjoyed much radio airplay and a successful musical ministry touring throughout the United States and Canada.

Following the group’s retirement announcement, Shandon, Landon, Brandon & Chrysta Beene look back with absolute fondness and gratitude to the wonderful industry leaders and all the many fans who helped make those dreams come true. “After cutting back our touring schedule two years ago, it became apparent that God had other doors to open in our lives and that our cutback would soon become a permanent decision to come off the road,” states Landon Beene. “We have enjoyed living ‘normal’ lives at home with our families and being available for our wives and kids.  Our hearts are at home,” says Beene, who also owns Tribute Media Source and Innovative Management Consulting.

According to Landon, each family member will be taking advantage of those special family moments, as well as walking through new doors God is opening in their lives. In fact, Brandon and Chrysta will continue traveling as a duet, with a limited schedule, and will be joined occasionally by the other two Beene family members for rare reunion concerts.

The group returns to their native California for their farewell performance, scheduled for the weekend of April 28, 29 & 30th , 2011 , at the Great Western Fan Festival in Visalia, California. It is only fitting that this family say goodbye to what has been an amazing journey back where it all began.

Plan to catch one of the Beene Family’s final performances before April, 2011. A complete touring schedule is avaialble at www.thebeenefamily.com.
