Gail Shelby Needs Prayers and Support
Written by Staff on December 23, 2015 – 3:07 pm -
Gail Shelby
Gail Shelby of Eternal Vision was rushed to the hospital on Sunday December 20th. She is still in ICU and her friends have set up a funding account to address the steadily mounting medical bills.
Gail is in need of a double lung transplant.
Last night, Miranda Vandergriff wrote on Gail’s Facebook page:
“Everyone please continue to pray for my Mamaw!! Hospital bills keep piling up and now she is back in ICU and the bills keep coming. We know not everyone can donate money but every dollar counts and just the donation of your time to say a prayer for her is appreciated!! We are continuing to believe and ask you all to do the same!!”

Eternal Vision
Please continue to support Gail Shelby with your prayers and visit her Go Fund Me page.
As we reported earlier this week, the situation is critical. Gail writes on her Go Fund Me page: “I was born with a genetic disease that none of my family had known or dealt with. I noticed in my very early 40s that it was getting more difficult to breathe after walking a distance or exercise. My husband and I along with another couple formed a singing ministry and we called it Eternal Vision, singing all over the country. This year is our 27th year of ministry. I have not been able to sing or go with the group in the last 2 years. 2014 I spent more time in the hospital than at home. The disease I have is Alpha One Antitrypsin Deficiency and I have Broncheactisis completely covering my left lung and 3/4 of my right lung.”
SGN Scoops continues to pray for Gail and her family at this time.

Mike and Gail Shelby
SGN Scoops has been asking readers for prayer and support of Gail Shelby of Eternary Vision as she waits for a double lung transplant. It was reported yesterday on her Facebook page that Gail’s condition suddenly took a turn for the worse in Sunday December 20th.
Gail’s son Michael posted:
After driving all night from our concert in Kennett Missouri, to Taylorsville, KY, we are now on our way back home to Knoxville. Mama Gail has been taken back to the hospital and we must get back. Please don’t call or message with inquiries on Gail’s condition, we will bring everyone up to date on that issue later. Right now we r asking for prayers! Our God is able! Our sincerest apologies to Pastor Chad Goodlett and the wonderful folks of Taylorsville Community, for us having to cancel this morning. These our some of my favorite folks in the world, and one of the places I look forward to singing at the most every year! Of course they have been completely supportive and praying right a long with us. Once again, please pray Church!
SGN Scoops sends our prayers to Gail and Mike Shelby for healing and comfort.

Gail Shelby needs our support and prayers
Written by scoopsnews on December 6, 2015 – 7:03 pm -Many of you have been praying for Gail Shelby. An account has now been set up where you can also give money to help this family.
Here is a note from Gail:
Hi my name is Gail Shelby. I was born with a genetic disease that none of my family had known or dealt with. The disease I have is Alpha One Antitrypsin Deficiency and I have Broncheactisis completely covering my left lung and 3/4 of my right lung. After my last visit this week from my pulmonologist my lung function had gone from 45 to 31. It was a huge drop in a short amount of time. They are submitting my file to Vanderbilt Hospital for a double lung transplant. I have not been able to work in over 2 years but the doctor bills, hospital bills, radiology and on and on, keep coming in along with our insurance being increased by $300.00 per month. The estimate for a double lung transplant is over $90,000.00. I am scared, my husband seems like he’s carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders trying to keep everything going. I can’t be left alone so we pay a care taker for me as well. I have fallen twice and broke my back in 2 places. I went from owning a photography studio, co-hosting a television show that had been on the air 57 years straight, doing radio and so on. Now I have to be helped from one room to the next with oxygen 24 hours a day. Whatever you can do is greatly appreciated. I have always BELIEVED that God has a perfect plan and I will continue to BELIEVE that.

Stuart Stallings New Release ” He’s A Little Cracked”
Written by SGN Scoops Staff on September 27, 2013 – 4:51 pm -Chapel Valley Music announced the release of their first comic album on the Sanctuary label by Christian comedian Stuart Stallings. Stuart is the bass singer for Eternal Vision, a Southern Gospel mixed quartet from Knoxville, TN who also records on the Sanctuary label.
In addition to singing bass for Eternal Vision, Stuart is also known for his hilarious antics. As the comic relief for the group, he has become a favorite with audiences everywhere. In 2008, he was nominated in the top ten for “Favorite Christian Comedian”. “I learned something from that incident.” Stuart said. “Mark Lowry won that year because he has FANS!” “I have FACEBOOK FRIENDS, Mark got votes, I got pokes.” “Unfortunately, they only count VOTES!”
Though he didn’t win, it did inspire Stuart to expand his comedy efforts and that led to his latest project. The title of the project is, “Stuart Stallings, He’s A Little Cracked!”. Stuart shared the reason for the title with us. “We were dying Easter eggs with my granddaughter one year and one of the eggs cracked when it was boiled. We started to set it aside and not color it and my granddaughter said, “ain’t nothin’ wrong with it PaPa, it’s still a good egg, it’s just a little cracked,” at which point my daughter burst into laughter and said, Ain’t nothin’ wrong with PaPa, he’s a good egg, he’s just a little cracked!” I thought, that would make a good title for a comedy album. So here it is.
Stuart uses his unique talent to see the lighter side as he talks about his life. This is a laugh-filled expose on Stuart’s meeting his wife, their courtship, his kids, growing old together and ending with a touching message on the love of God.
Chapel Valley Music is excited to bring you this hilarious look into the life of one of the funniest guys we know. Stuart Stallings is indeed a “good egg” and there is no doubt, “he’s a little cracked”!
