96th North Carolina State Annual Singing Convention Historic State Annual Singing Convention held each June in Benson, North Carolina. This year, on June 24, 25, and 26, 2016, we are excited to be celebrating our 96th year. Our convention is non-profit and all sessions are free for singing groups and the general public. Our officers and board of directors volunteer countless hours each year to insure the continuation of this great event. Everyone is welcome, and singers who wish to enter our talent contests on Saturday and Sunday are asked to view registration information, session times, and rules as soon as possible on our website: www.gospelsingingconvention.
