Produced by multi-award winning Wayne Haun. Pray Now has already received the Dove Award for Southern Gospel Album of the Year and the title cut has been number one on numerous charts. This is the group’s fourth GRAMMY® nomination. The previous nominations were for Best Southern/Country/Bluegrass Album for Live At Oak Tree in 2011, Best Southern/Country/ Bluegrass Gospel Album for Ephesians One in 2009, and Best Southern/Country/Bluegrass Gospel Album for Journey of Joy in 2008.
Karen Peck commented, “We are extremely excited and honored to have a Grammy nomination! Everyone worked very hard on this project. It truly was a team effort. Special thanks to our Producer Wayne Haun, Daywind Music, Ed Leonard, Dottie Leonard, Scott Godsey, Rick Shelton, and Ed Harper of the Harper Agency. Also we want to express our gratitude to all of the incredible writers on this album. Pray Now is very dear to us. We had no idea when we recorded the Pray Now album in January that our world would change in a matter of days when my husband, Rickey, was diagnosed with cancer. Pray Now helped us through many difficult days. This nomination is a special blessing to us. To God be the glory!!”
Pray Now, exclusively distributed by New Day Distribution, is available throughout general market stores and the Christian marketplace in addition to online retailers worldwide including iTunes, Amazon and www.karenpeckandnewriver.com.
