PRAISEFEST BRANSON RETURNS TO MANSION THEATRE

Johnson City, TN – In 2012, the successful promotions team at IMC Concerts conceived the idea of presenting an exciting weekend of Gospel music in the Ozark Mountains town of Branson, MO, a city that is famously known for its diverse entertainment theaters. That first year, the event took place at state-of-the-art Mansion Theatre. The following year, organizers chose to move the event to the Oak Ridge Boys Theatre. Throughout the next few years the event grew to boast capacity crowds both nights in 2015.

Due to the overwhelming success of the event, IMC Concerts has announced plans to return to the Mansion Theatre for the 2016 event, which will take place March 17-19. “We are thrilled to be moving back home to the Mansion Theatre for this event,” states IMC President Landon Beene. “I love this location, because our attendees are able to stay in our host hotel. This makes for a convenient and enjoyable Praisefest event!”
Perfectly situated on Expressway Lane, the Mansion Theatre has a seating capacity of 3,000, considerably more than the theatre that served as home for Praisefest Branson in 2013, 2014 and 2015. On-site parking is free, and according to the organizers of the event, the Mansion Theatre has experienced a major renovation process.
The 2016 Praisefest Branson will take place March 17, 18 & 19 and will include performances by such popular recording artists as The Triumphant Quartet, The Collingsworth Family, Greater Vision, Legacy Five, Tim Lovelace, The Booth Brothers, The Mark Trammell Quartet, The Jim Brady Trio and The Freedom Singers. In addition to nightly concerts on Thursday and Friday, morning sessions will take place on Friday and Saturday. Renown speaker, Dr. David Jeremiah, will be featured during Friday morning’s session. The weekend will also highlight brand new trio, Cana’s Voice, featuring TaRanda Greene, Doug Anderson and Jody McBrayer.
Accommodations have also been made for regular attendees who have already purchased tickets, as these individuals will be given comparable seating at the new facility. “All current ticket holders have already been reticketed,” Beene explains. “Any ticket holder is welcome to call IMC to review their new seating and ask about possible upgrades. Our goal is to ensure that they are satisfied with the comparable seating. We will do everything possible to make this transition a smooth one. We are confident all the changes we are making will prove to be of great benefit and allow this wonderful event to continue to grow by leaps and bounds.”
