Nashville, TN – Award winning trio, Three Bridges, has just completed a successful 12 day tour that took them to Georgia, Florida, Virginia, and North Carolina. The trip had it’s share of obstacles but God blessed them with some surprises along the way.
The tour contained a wide variety of events ranging from annual concerts to live TV. Three Bridges made their way to Waldo, Florida to appear with Gold City and others. While in the Sunshine State, they were invited by Dr. Charles Kirby to visit Lake Gibson Church of the Nazarene and have one last concert with the “snow-birds” before they headed north for the summer.
After a stop at historic Zion Baptist Church in Orange, Virgina for their “Jubliee” event, the group turned the bus towards North Carolina where they received an unexpected blessing. At the last minute, Three Bridges was invited to come to First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. Pastor D.A. Leonards church turned out to be right where God wanted them to be. That night they saw 20 people come forward to be born again!
On the ride from North Carolina to Georgia, the group’s bus had mechanical issues and they found themselves broken down. Once again, God was there with a blessing. With the help of Jeff Easter and his drummer, Joshua Phillips, they were back on the road in less than 4 hours with minor financial expense and were able to make their next date. The group wrapped up their tour with WATC-TV57 in Atlanta, Georgia and performed live on the air for the station’s 20th anniversary event.
Three Bridges has long been one of Gospel music’s most popular artists and have appeared on numerous Gaither Homecoming video and live events. Their most recent single, “Made Up Mind,” was just released to radio on the Family Music Group Radio Compilation Volume 2. For more information on Three Bridges, go to www.threebridges.net.
