Franklin, TN (Oct 4th, 2017) — Crosby Lane has released a new music video for their song, “Dead In The Water”. The new video features the vocal/acoustic duo of Crosby Lane, John and Michaela Lemonis, who also co-wrote the song. Their past video release, “Crucified”, was shown on multiple national networks including GAC TV, CMT and Heartland  and appeared in several popular TV shows. The new video is premiering first on the groups social media and subsequently being released to national television outlets.

“Dead In The Water” is from Crosby Lane’s forthcoming album, ‘Blacktop Revival Tour’ and will be their third album release on Mansion Entertainment. The video was directed by Mansion’s John Mathis and was shot on location at Henry Horton State Park in Chapel Hill, TN. John Lemonis actually lost his wedding band in the Duck River as it slipped off his finger during video production of one of the water scenes.. The music was co-produced by John Lemonis and Dennis Dearing and is slated for release in November.

John Mathis of Mansion Entertainment commented, “We had such success with the ‘Crucified’ video and set out to see if we could come up with something that would be as equally well-received. Although we dealt with mosquitos on a Biblical plague level and John lost his wedding band, we really enjoyed the process of creating this. These guys wrote a great song, and we wanted to help paint a picture of that with this video. We are all excited to share the video and the message.”

SGN Scoops’ Fast Five with Crosby Lane

Written by Staff on June 8, 2015 – 9:31 am -

imageSGN Scoops is back with another Fast Five! Today we feature Crosby Lane, a mixed group from Nashville who highlighted the Diamond Awards stage during the Creekside Gospel Music Convention a short time ago. We welcome Crosby Lane and invite you to learn a little more about these artists!

Crosby Lane is a Nashville-based acoustic, vocal folk group. Since 2012, they have been traveling the country primarily singing hymns. Comprised of Tonja Rose, John and Michaela Lemonis, the group is named for beloved hymn writer, Fanny Crosby, they have a heart for hymns and are dedicated to keeping these great songs alive! They perform with guitars and mandolin, rich harmonies, and fresh new arrangements. They released their debut project, “Story & Song” on Mansion Entertainment earlier this year and the single, “‘Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus” is at radio now. They are working on a second project and are about to begin a Christmas project.

imageTake a moment to read Crosby Lane’s answers to our Fast Five!

SGN: What one thing are you most looking forward to in the months ahead?

Michaela: We look forward to traveling the world sharing about God’s ability to take the ordinary and make the extraordinary.

SGN: What is your all-time favorite TV show?

Michaela, John: The Andy Griffith Show.
Tonja: I have two! The Middle and The Waltons.
SGN: Who is your all-time favorite Gospel singer?
Tonja: Amy Grant!
John: I like David Phelps and Michael English, among others. Michaela: There are too many to mention.

SGN: What is the most unique thing a person has brought you at a concert?

John: The most unique gift we have received at a concert has to be the Charles Wesley doll. We call him “Chuck” and he has made several road trips with us. Is that interesting or just plain strange?

SGN: What would you like written on your tombstone?
John: “I told you I wasn’t feeling well!”
Michaela: “1 John 4:7 – Dear Friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and knows God”.
Tonja: “I loved and was loved;” but then I want a push button on my tombstone with the words, ‘PUSH IF YOU THINK YOU GOT THE LAST LAUGH’ and then when it is pushed, it’s a recording of my laugh. (You’d have to hear me laugh to truly appreciate it!)

Please click on Crosby Lane’s website to find out more and see their tour schedule.

Crosby Lane Signs With Mansion Entertainment

Written by SGN Scoops Staff on November 21, 2014 – 1:35 pm -

Crosby LaneFranklin, TN (Mansion Entertainment) November 21st, 2014 – The vocal and instrumental group, Crosby Lane, recently joined the Mansion Entertainment family of artists by signing to its newly formed Mansion Americana label.

Crosby Lane, named for one of the most prolific hymn writers of all time, Fanny Crosby, is comprised of singer-songwriter Tonja Rose, multi-Dove nominated songwriter, singer and instrumentalist John Lemonis, and vocalist/instrumentalist Michaela Lemonis. The trio shares a ministry passion for hymns and have been traveling the country not only sharing their arrangements of some of America’s most-loved hymns but creating a unique ministry event in which many of the circumstances and stories behind the lyrics of the timeless hymns are shared in a unique Crosby Lane presentation.

Mansion Entertainment’s John Mathis shares, “Over the past year John Lemonis has been keeping me updated with a lot of the happenings with Crosby Lane out on the road. How people are responding to not only the Crosby Lane arrangements and presentation of the music, but they gasp or cry or just have these emotional reactions and responses to hearing the stories behind some of these great songs. The ones who love the hymns are loving the presentation Crosby Lane is giving them, and yet there is a generation that are not familiar with these great, uncompromising lyrics and the moments in the writer’s life which caused them to be born. John, Tonja and Michaela are introducing and educating a new group to some of these great words we’ve all sang for years. We definitely wanted to be a part of this in some small way and support what Crosby Lane is out there doing!”

Craig Adams of Lifeway Worship Resources in Nashville previously commented on Crosby Lane’s musical endeavors as well; “These folks have a deep sense of commitment to the theology we sing, as well as enriching stories behind the enduring hymns that have been anchors of faith for untold generations. Their musical approach is endearing, warm, and infectious – a refreshing retreat from mainstream worship stylings.”

The debut project from Crosby Lane is entitled, ‘Story & Song’, and will be released in 2015. Radio programmers and listeners will become acquainted with Crosby Lane in February of 2015 as they slated to receive the debut radio single. For more information on Crosby Lane visit CrosbyLane.com.
