Timms received his ordination as a minister of the Gospel on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Living Water Community Church in Mooreville, Mississippi. Celebrated and award winning singer/songwriter Gerald Crabb preached the ordination service.
“We are so excited about this new area of ministry for Heavens Highway,” mentioned David Timms. “God has already begun to open doors for us to hold revivals and meetings as well as provide the special music because of this ordination. We can’t wait to see what roads the Lord takes us down now.”
“This has always been a dream of mine,” continued Timms. “Music has been an integral part of my life, but ministering the Word of God is such a passion of mine now, it only made sense that we combine the two giftings.”
