Nashville, TN  – Heard initially as the theme song for Ernie Haase and Signature Sound’s “Friday Night Sing” series, the song “Wake Up” is available today as a digital single. “Wake Up” can now be downloaded or streamed on all digital music platforms.

Penned by Ernie Haase, Wayne Haun and Joel Lindsey, “Wake Up” premiered on the debut episode of the “Friday Night Sing” series, and fans immediately asked when this song would be available. Ernie Haase is thankful to be able to bless fans with this song today. “As a touring artist faced with difficult restrictions that prevent us from sharing our music with live audiences, I had to determine how we could stay connected while off the road. In place of touring, we created the ‘Friday Night Sing’. And instead of recording a whole album of music, we decided to record single songs that we could premiere on our online program and release to our fans digitally. ‘Wake Up’ is the first of five new songs that we have created in the midst of these crazy times. Our art reflects our heart, and it is our hope that these songs will accomplish what we have always been about: giving hope through songs and shared community, whether that is in-person or online.”

Ernie Haase & Signature Sound is nominated for a Gospel Music Association Dove Award for Southern Gospel Artist of the Year this year. NASHVILLE, Tenn.—GRAMMY®-nominated, Dove Award-winning StowTown Records flagship artist Ernie Haase & Signature Sound (EHSS) is set to premiere a new streaming series, “Friday Night Sing,” beginning September 11 at 7:00 pm ET. A unique mix of music, memories and special guests, the weekly half-hour show will be free to view on the group’s website, as well as via YouTube and Facebook.

“Like everyone else, when much of the U.S. shut down at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, I would wake up each morning with uncertainty and a certain amount of fear,” Haase recalls. “After a few weeks of that I said, ‘Enough! What can I do to help?’ EHSS soon began singing together online, each of us performing from our individual living rooms. That weekly effort caught on so well and the idea for ‘Friday Night Sing’ was born. Now, this series is our gift to the body of Christ in these uncertain times.”

With a new episode debuting each Friday for 16 weeks, the show will be anchored by socially-distanced performances of familiar favorites from Ernie Haase & Signature Sound. In addition, a special guest will be featured on every show, with upcoming appearances slated to include Christian music patriarch Bill Gaither; Dr. Dave Zanotti, president and CEO of the American Policy Roundtable and co-host of the popular radio broadcast “The Public Square”; GRAMMY®-winning cellist Sara Sant’Ambrogio; GRAMMY®-nominated trio the Booth Brothers; and Broadway actor and singer J. Mark McVey, among many others.

“Friday Night Sing” episodes will also be highlighted by never-before-seen footage of Haase’s beloved father-in-law, the late George Younce, along with archived performances from the Cathedral Quartet during Haase’s tenure with the iconic group.

Stow, OH (June 25, 2020) – After much prayer, consultation and taking a long look at the big picture of how this Covid-19 crisis has impacted every aspect of our lives, I have made peace with the decision to suspend all EHSS touring for 2020. We are hopeful to resume touring in March 2021. However, should things dramatically change and we can all gather together sooner safely, you will be the first to know!

As a leader, I not only feel a responsibility for livelihoods, but also for the LIVES of everyone involved! I feel this for you too, the extended EHSS family whom we have come to love and adore. The concern for the health and safety of everyone is more important to me than trying to go forward with a tour.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. Please know that we are working to reschedule our 2020 dates and look forward to seeing you all in 2021. Ticketing questions should be directed to the point of purchase.

August 11, 2016 (Nashville, TN)… In just its fifth year of existence, StowTown Records amassed a record-setting 9 nominations during the Gospel Music Association’s 2016 Dove Awards Nominee Press Conference held Wednesday morning on the campus of Lipscomb University.

The 47th Annual GMA Dove Awards are scheduled to take place Tuesday, October 11 at Lipscomb’s Allen Arena.

StowTown co-founder Wayne Haun once again was named as a nominee for the prestigious Producer of the Year award. One of Southern Gospel’s most popular and well-known performers, producers, songwriters, and arrangers, Haun is a multiple Dove Award winner.

Ernie Haase & Signature Sound’s recent popular album, Happy People, and The Collingsworth Family’s fan-favorite project, That Day Is Coming, were each announced as a finalist for Southern Gospel Album of the Year.

Meanwhile, StowTown’s Ernie Haase & Signature Sound along with The Perrys were each named nominees for Southern Gospel Artist of the Year.

“Jesus Changed Everything”, the popular radio single by Ernie Haase & Signature Sound written by Haase, Haun, and Joel Lindsey as well as “Keep On”, the 2016 powerhouse hit by The Perrys written by Haun and Lindsey were both listed as finalists for Southern Gospel Recorded Song of the Year.

For Country Recorded Song of the Year, “Love Covered My Sin” by Doug Anderson, written by Haun, Randall Garland, and Val Dacus was named as a 2016 nominee.

In the Special Event Album of the Year category, Blessed Assurance: The New Hymns of Fanny Crosby with producers Bobby Blazier and John Hartley earned a spot among the top nominations.

All winners will be announced at the awards show Tuesday, October 11th. The GMA Dove Awards, which will begin at 6:30 p.m. CT, will air globally on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) on Sunday, October 16.

CATHEDRAL FAMILY REUNION AT SALUTE TO TEXAS GOSPEL MUSIC FESTIVAL

Johnson City, TN – The successful promotions company, IMC Concerts, has announced plans for the addition of several of Southern Gospel Music’s most popular and talented recording artists to be featured during the 2016 Texas Gospel Music Festival. The event will take place November 4 & 5, 2016 at the McGorman Performing Arts Center in Ft. Worth, TX.

In the past, the event has featured the Cathedrals Family Reunion. This year’s Texas Gospel Music Festival will again feature the Reunion with Legacy Five, Greater Vision and Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, as well as the Mark Trammell Quartet. The Cathedrals Family Reunion will serve as the finale for the weekend.

Additionally, the weekend will highlight The Booth Brothers, The Collingsworth Family, The Erwins, Mark Lowry and brand new trio Cana’s Voice, featuring TaRanda Greene, Doug Anderson and Jody McBrayer. “We are very excited about the additions we have made to the Texas Gospel Music Festival,” IMC President, Landon Beene, states. “Texas boasts a rich gospel music tradition. It is where many  gospel music legends got their start, including long-time Cathedral Quartet member Glen Payne, who called Rockwall, TX, home. We are very excited about what we believe will become another rich Texas gospel music tradition.”

For those attending the weekend, IMC has created a number of lodging packages that will feature special activities with several of the artists featured on this event. “After a great night of music, there is nothing better than being able to go back to hotel and enjoy great fellowship with other event attendees and some of the artists featured on the program,” Beene explains. “We are planning some very special activities for those who take advantage of the special lodging packages we are creating. This will be a really fun opportunity for those out of town guests who will be attending.”

According to Beene, accommodations have been made for current ticket holders who have already purchased tickets for the 2016 event. “Revamping this event is something we believe will have a very positive impact. Current ticket holders who would like to make any changes to their reservations or upgrade their seats before tickets go on sale to the general public will have the opportunity to do so. EHSS’ Dustin and Aubrey Doyle Welcome Baby Girl

October 19, 2015 (Nashville, TN)…StowTown Records and Ernie Haase & Signature Sound are proud to announce the birth of Lana Lynn Doyle.
Born Tuesday, October 6, she is the second child of lead singer Dustin Doyle and his wife, Aubrey. Lana Lynn weighed 7 lbs, 10 oz., and measured 20 inches long.
Dawson William, born February 4, 2014, is the proud older brother.
Dustin is the newest member of EHSS, recently joining the quartet after three years traveling with the popular trio, Beyond The Ashes. He plays several instruments, including guitar, piano, bass, and drums, and also enjoys writing songs and leading worship while at home.

The Doyles make their home in McKenzie, TN.
