Written by SGN Scoops Staff on February 15, 2013 – 2:05 pm -

Franklin, TN (February 7th 2013) – Mansion Entertainment, label home to GrammyThree Bridges
nominated and Dove Award winning Gospel artists, has enough experience to know when a song
begins to take on a life and persona of its own. Three Bridges newest single “Forgive Myself”,
off their latest album Twelve, is just such a song.

Twelve has been an important number for Three Bridges – Twelve is the title of their newest
project, it describes the number of songs on the album, their number of years in ministry, and
the number of studio albums they have recorded. At a time when the music industry struggles
creatively to capture audiences, Three Bridges has released one of its strongest and most
powerful singles, “Forgive Myself”.

“Forgive Myself” written by John Lemonis and Amy Keffer, stresses the importance of learning
to forgive yourself of past sins just as Jesus does. This strong message hits home with the very
foundation of the Church and has resonated in the hearts of concertgoers and followers of social

Shannon Smith, who sings lead on “Forgive Myself”, stated that “When we perform this song
people are obviously moved by it – you can almost see a healing take place. It’s amazing to see
what God to do through a three or four minute song.”

Shelia Harper, founder of SaveOne Ministry, states, “Forgive Myself is quickly becoming
the theme song for our ministry, SaveOne. We are an abortion recovery ministry and the
line, ‘Mercy has no memory, grace has no regret’ speaks to the very heart of what we’re
about…forgiving ourselves through accepting Jesus’ mercy, grace, and forgiveness. Thank you
to Three Bridges for sharing this song with the world!”

One fan on social media said that the song “Greatly blessed me. I have struggled my entire life to
forgive myself…” Another fan said, “Moving on from the past and learning forgive yourself of
past mistakes is something that everyone struggles with and is relatable to so many.”

“Forgive Myself” debuted on the Singing News Top 80 Chart for March and has already
achieved success on other industry charts. As the popularity and exposure of the song grows, so
does the feedback from fans who hear it.

Nashville, TN (Feb 22, 2012) –Powerful vocal trio, Beyond The Ashes (BTA), is overwhelmed with gratitude with news of two prestigious DOVE AWARD nominations.  The Gospel Music Association (GMA) announced the nominees at a press conference held in Atlanta, GA this morning. The announcements were hosted by comedienne extraordinaire, Chonda Pierce.
The trio’s DOVE AWARD nominations include NEW ARTIST OF THE YEAR and CONTEMPORARY GOSPEL RECORDED SONG OF THE YEAR, “What I Have I Give,” written by Wayne Haun, Joel Lindsey, and Depp Britt. The nominated song is from the album, Treasures Unseen, produced by Haun on Vine Records.
Group members Anthony Facello, Casey Rivers, and Kellan Monroe are beyond blessed by all God is doing in their ministry. These nominations have “almost” left them speechless, but BTA owner and tenor singer, Facello, tried to sum up the emotions as he shared; “We are stunned, overwhelmed, and absolutely thrilled with this tremendous news. The last 12 months have been quite a rollercoaster as we experienced successes and, also, some tough trials.  The best part has been seeing souls trust Christ and lives changed forever.  The hardest parts are tests of faith in moving forward, like when our bus caught on fire and we lost just about everything inside, including the transporation itself.  But, what GOD has proven, and continues to prove over and again, is, HE IS FAITHFUL. There is no trial He doesn’t understand and there are no victories more important than the spiritual ones we encounter as we continue to press on and serve Him in this ministry. Knowing we have received these nominations only fuels our desire to take it to the next level in this ministry and to really pray that accolades like a DOVE nomination (and, if it comes, a DOVE AWARD) will only open more opportunity to reach out to the hearts of hurting and lost people.  WOW…THANK you everyone!”
The news of the nominations follows so many other incredible areas of growth for this talented group of guys, including their recent and first top 10 song, “The Coming Of The King.”  Their new single, “Whenever We Pray,” is poised to be another chart busting hit.  Both songs can be found on Treasure Unseen.

To learn more about Beyond the Ashes, visit beyondtheashesonline.com.  You can find them on Facebook at facebook.com/beyondtheashes and on Twitter @beyondtheashes1. You can also see them on YouTube at youtube.com/user/BeyondTheAshesTV.
The 43rd Annual GMA Dove Awards will take place April 19 at the Fox Theater in Atlanta. The award show is produced by the Gospel Music Association (GMA) to offer the most comprehensive platform of music celebrating Christian and Gospel music.
The Gospel Music Association has been the face and voice for the Gospel/Christian music community since 1964 and is dedicated to celebrating the Gospel through music of all styles including Pop, Rock, Praise & Worship, Urban Gospel, R&B, Hip Hop, Southern Gospel, Bluegrass, Country and more. HisSong Announces Michael Frost As New Baritone Vocalist

Written by SGN Scoops Staff on November 3, 2011 – 11:09 am -

Dove Award nominated HisSong is proud to announce as their new Baritone singer/songwriter Michael Frost. Michael has a long history in southern gospel music.

HisSong owner/manager Dennis Humphries states, “We are very excited to have Michael a part of this ministry and team. I have known Michael for several years and have always loved his singing, songwriting and his spirit. I’m excited to see what God has in store for this ministry.”

Michael Jason Frost grew up singing gospel music with his family in upper East Tennessee. By the time he was a teenager, he was harmonizing with his cousins and traveling on weekends across the southeast with a family band, The Frost Family. That band evolved into a vocal trio, The Frosts, that did well in the southern gospel music industry with widespread radio airplay and charting singles. The trio enjoyed success from 2002 – 2005 and earned a Singing News Fan Award nomination in 2005.

As a songwriter, Michael has had cuts by several of gospel music’s most popular artists, including a new release on Ivan Parker’s latest project HisSong, The Wilburns, Heirline and more. Many of his songs have climbed The Singing News Top 40 chart. Michael was named “Songwriter of the Year” in 2007 by the Eddie Crook Company.

In 2006, Michael was cast in an original musical production about the life of Christ called “The Miracle” at The Miracle Theater in Pigeon Forge, TN. Michael signed on for every season of The Miracle, where he played various roles from John the Baptist to Judas, and as an understudy to the role of Jesus. He also served as host and pre-show soloist. Michael appeared in more than 2,000 performances of The Miracle until the show ended its run in October 2011. Michael also appeared in the theater’s production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” starring alongside American Idol’s Melinda Doolittle.

After The Miracle ended it’s run, Michael officially joined popular southern gospel trio, HisSong in October 2011 as their full-time baritone singer.

“I’m amazed by God’s timing. Just when The Miracle closed after six years, God opened the door for me to sing with HisSong. I’ve known these guys for years, and I’ve always loved their sound and their songs. It’s an honor to join their ministry and I’m excited to see where God will take us from here,” Michael said.
Michael and his wife Jen have one daughter, Jael Esther Frost. They reside in Sevierville, TN.

HisSong is currently working on a brand new project with multi Dove Award winning producer Wayne Haun on the Vine/Crossroads label. This will be the 4th project with Wayne. This is HisSong’s 10 year anniversary and the new record will be called “Decade.”
