GMC Unveils Christmas Programming Lineup Featuring 300+ Hours of Holiday-Themed Family Entertainment

ATLANTA, Nov. 29, 2010 /Christian Newswire/ — GMC, America’s favorite channel for uplifting music and family entertainment, today kicked off television’s most extensive slate of Christmas-themed programming–more than 300 hours of music specials, Christmas and holiday films, a Christmas Eve Yule Log 24-hour music marathon, holiday episodes of popular series, exclusive interstitials featuring entertainment stars and their Christmas memories, and much more.
Highlights include:
· GMC’s first-ever World Premiere Christmas movie, “Christmas with a Capital C.” The movie is based on the song “Christmas with a Capital C” by the band Go Fish, which has received more than 15 million views online. The film stars Ted McGinley, Daniel Baldwin and Nancy Stafford, and premieres Sunday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. ET, with encores that night at 9 and 11 p.m.
· “Top Spin: Top 12 Songs of Christmas,” a joyous and festive countdown of the top Christmas songs, hosted by Tiffany Thorpe. Airs multiple times throughout December.
