SUE DODGE PARTNERS WITH CHAPEL VALLEY FOR A BRAND NEW SEASON IN MINISTRY
Written by Staff on June 25, 2020 – 9:59 am -Sharps Chapel, Tenn. – Chapel Valley is thrilled to announce a partnership with four-time Dove Award-winner and Gaither artist, Sue Dodge (website HERE). Many know Sue Dodge from her appearances on Gaither Homecoming events and videos and some even remember her early days with The Speer Family.
Sue has been in the studio working on her new Christmas album and getting to know the Chapel Valley production crew in the process.
Sue celebrated 50 years in Southern gospel music last year with the launch of her “Let me Tell You About Jesus” album.
The Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame and Museum has a brand new display featuring some of her memoirs from her lifetime contribution to the industry. Amos and Sue Dodge recently retired after founding and pastoring Capital Church for over 40 years, and Sue has resumed traveling, singing and sharing the gospel.

She is an accomplished artist and has shared the stage with some of the most legendary names in the Southern gospel industry. The Talleys to appear in Savannah, Tennessee
Written by Staff on May 6, 2020 – 10:33 am -People’s Tabernacle Church, 64 Airways Blvd, Savannah, Tennessee, will welcome award winning Christian artists, The Talleys, on Saturday, May 16, 2020, at 5:00PM.
This is a DRIVE-IN, outside concert. You can stay in your car or you can bring your own chair and sit outside.
The Talleys, which have enjoyed many years of success, including a Dove Award, numerous Singing News Fan Awards, and 11 top No. 1 songs, recently announced they will be retiring at the end of 2020, which makes this concert more special and could be a once in a lifetime event. It could be one of the last opportunities to see them in the greater West Tennessee/North Alabama/North Mississippi area.
Pastor Josh and Ashley Franks will also appear.
No admission will be charged, however a generous freewill love offering will be received.
In case of rain, this event will be moved into the church’s gymnasium.

Road to the 2020 Diamond Awards

Anyone, anywhere, can vote on their favorite gospel music artists. The Diamond Awards will be presented on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 during the Creekside Gospel Music Convention held at Pigeon Forge, Tennessee Oct. 25 – 30, 2020.

What are the Diamond Awards?
The prestigious Diamond Awards have a history of almost 30 years, recognizing the best in Gospel Music from coast to coast. The Awards began in 1991, hosted by Allen Smith and the Gospel Voice Magazine. Today, that same publication is known as SGN Scoops Digital Magazine, and both SGNScoops and the Diamond Awards are owned by Coastal Media Group and Rob Patz.
What are some of the categories?

This is a once-in-a-lifetime honor to recognize the living performer whom the fans feel has made the greatest contribution to Southern Gospel music over a career spanning 25 years or more. Previous winners are not eligible to be nominated. Anyone from artists to industry professionals

Creekside 2019 Begins with a Bang, Convention runs until Oct. 31

Pine Ridge Boys at Creekside Kick Off
Creekside Gospel Music Convention 2019 has begun in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The kick-off concert on Sunday night, Oct. 27, was well attended and a great experience for those in attendance. An attentive crowd became a part of the first Creekside Live DVD, as the Pine Ridge Boys hosted a boisterous concert to celebrate the event. The Chordsmen Quartet also appeared at this concert as part of the Classic Artists Music Group. The taping was held at the Mill Creek auditorium, a satellite venue for Creekside.
The main site for Creekside is the Smoky Mountain Convention Center, where the convention was in full swing on Monday, Oct. 28. Morning events featured the Pine Ridge Boys Breakfast, artist load-in, and the Nashville Heartsong Showcase. In the afternoon, some attendees took part in the Radio Promotions Seminar with Richard Hyssong, Tiffany Noecker, Vonda Armstrong. Joy
Holden began the inaugural Singing on the Square in front of the Smoky Mountain Convention Center, where a lovely dinner was whipped up and served free to the first 100 fans.
The evening concert at the Smoky Mountain center began at 5:00 p.m., featuring the Down East Boys, Hyssongs, The Bibletones, and guest preacher, Pastor Bill Bailey. The Dr. Jerry Goff Honors highlighted the career of Troy Burns. Midnight prayer was hosted by Tim and Missy Kinchen in the lobby of the Ramada Inn.

Three Days Left to vote on the 2019 Diamond Awards Top 10
The 2019 Diamond Award Top 10 voting is nearing completion. Vote HERE The journey for this year began in February with the call for nominees for each Southern, Country, and Bluegrass gospel category. Those nominees were compiled to create the top 10 and voters have been streaming toward the site to make their preferences known. Thank you to everyone who has recorded there favorites for each award.

Down East Boys to appear at Creekside 2019
