We are excited to present February’s edition of SGNScoops Magazine. On the cover this month is a name we’ve all grown to love over the years, “The Nelons!” We’re sure you’ll be blessed as the Nelons share about their legacy, family and ministry. Also this month, we’re highlighting the ministries of The Browders, Midnight Cry and Lindsay Huggins as well as Tommy Brandt, Jimmy Davis and Gerald Crabb. Enjoy concert stories on Palmetto State Quartet and a get replay of recent concert with Wes Hampton and Marshall Hall. Sandi Duncan Clark reviews February’s music, John Mathis has a spiritual challenge and Lou Hildreth shares more great memories. We are officially announcing the opening date for round one nominations for Diamond Awards is February 18th! The Diamond Awards will be held at the Creekside Gospel Music Convention in Pigeon Forge, TN. Get the latest news on Creekside in this issue as well. We are welcoming a few new writers this month! Make sure you let Dixie Phillips, Eva Wilson and Susan Werchonowicz know you appreciate them as well as the rest of our dedicated and talented staff. Hobson’s Sign Contract with Perry Edge & Double E Promotions

{EHA-Nashville, TN} The popular, Hobsons signed on with Perry Edge and Double E Promotions to continue to promote their latest single, “You Saw the Best in Me”, written by Brian and Angela Monehan and recorded by John Mathis, Jr./Pathway Records. The song will be featured on their Christian Country Gospel comp. #167 and the Southern Gospel comp. #261 and was nationally released Nov. 1st according to Norma Beene of Double E. John Hobson notes, “We’re really excited to be on the radio comp with wonderful artists like Marty Raybon, Jimmy Fortune, Gerald Crabb, The Parrish Family, Tim Livingston and many more. We’re just honored to be in their company. On Dec.8th we’ll travel out to greater Booneville, Miss. to attend the Double E Christmas party, sing a few songs, and celebrate the ‘reason for the season’..the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ. We’re really looking forward to meeting all the folks at Double E.”

Sandi Duncan Clark reviews new music from the Crabb Family, Dailey & Vincent and more while Rhonda Frye and Jeff Hawes share their thoughts about new book releases. Mansion Creates Pathway Records As A New Professional Service For Artists.

Brentwood, TN (Mansion Entertainment) October 23rd, 2010 – Mansion Entertainment has created a new professional service offering for artists in need of a quality new recording, Pathway Records. This new development will provide a quality recording to new and developing artists within a budget that is competitive and affordable for the artists’ immediate goals and direction.
Executive Director of Manor House Music, Bill Dykes states, “Many artists who are not familiar with the music industry or its processes learn by trial and error in their ministries regarding what to do and what not to do. We want to offer the professional experiences of our team to these artists and help guide them through all the hurdles an artist can face when planning, budgeting and recording a new project. It’s our desire to help them in regard to saving time and costs and assist them in gaining some valuable experience in regard to this aspect in the development of their careers.”
Pathway Records will be able to utilize the state of the art recording facilities in Branson, Missouri and will also be able to provide the option of recording a new project in Nashville.
