Gospel Music Today had been added to the programming lineup at KWHB TV47 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. KWHB covers northeast Oklahoma over the air on channel 47, Tulsa and surrounding areas on Cox Communications channel 7, and over 80 other cable systems in Oklahoma. The show airs Monday nights at 7:00 PM.
Gospel Music Today features southern gospel news, concert updates, feature groups, cd reviews, and interviews with southern gospel music personalities, hosted and produced by Ken and Jean Grady.
Gospel Music Today began ten years ago on statewide cable TV in Rhode Island to help promote southern gospel concerts at the church where Jean Grady was choir director. When the Gradys moved to Oklahoma two years ago, the show continued on the internet, and the show will continue to be available at the Gospel Music Today website.
Ken is a former high school English teacher, radio and television broadcaster,. Jean was the director of a community chorus and church choir, and global project manager for a major computer company. Their appreciation for southern gospel music and the people that make it happen led to the creation of Gospel Music Today.
