Fast 5 Questions and Answers with “Sacred Harmony”

1.What’s new with SH?
We signed a radio promotion and management agreement with Butler Music group in January and went to work on a brand new record produced by Les Butler coming very soon!

2. Share a Testimony
GOD IS FAITHFUL!..He has seen us through some challenging times this year! Theresa’s husband Danny died recently after a long cancer related battle. Balancing his care with a full tour schedule and working on new music all at the same time required us to trust him through our doubts, fears, and uncertainty like never before. He provided everything we needed right when we needed  it including Melissa Evans who has filled in for Theresa some this year when she needed to be at home with Danny..his unchanging hand has surely covered us and we are just grateful for his sufficient grace!

3.  What’s some Goals for 2017?
Sharing some brand new music of course and  asking God to expand our borders more nationally and internationally as we sing for HIM and about His saving grace!

4.  What has been some of your highlights this year?
We had the privilege of working with Paul Pitts and Global promotions on a couple of events this year hosted by Aaron and Amanda Crabb then Adam Crabb .
We shared main stage with greats such as Hoppers, Booth Brothers, Canton Junction And Gordan Mote at Difference Media’s American Gospel Celebration to name a few..Also collaborating with some of Southern Gospel’s finest songwriters such as Kenna West as writer snd cowriter on 4 new songs and Nashville’s finest musicians to bring a brand new record to life!

5. Tell us about the new record.
Wow!.Les Butler is such a talented musician and producer and we are thankful God brought him into our lives! It’s entitled “Believe” and each song tells something about how God works through us, in us and in others to accomplish his plan! There are a couple of surprises like a southern gospel/bluegrass infused remake of an old Petra classic called Grave Robber and we have a iconic quartet as our guest on one song and you’ll just have to stay tuned to find out who they are!

With T.G. Sheppard

Nashville, TN –  The goal of every Gospel music ministry is to place their music in front of an audience that may have never heard a clear presentation of the Gospel. BMG/ Dawn Management artist, Sacred Harmony continues to get that opportunity time and time again. A short time ago, they had the chance to perform to a sold out crowd with Country music legend Larry Gatlin . After a fantastic night and great crowd response, the promoter asked them to be a part of future events.

On March 31, Sacred Harmony performed with T.G. Sheppard at the Community Center in Jacksonville, Alabama. “We had several people come up to us after the concert excited that they were able to hear Gospel music that night. They came expecting to just hear country music but went home with a dose of the Gospel message. That’s what it’s all about,” stated Sacred Harmony member Brian Scott.

The Tennessee based trio is riding a wave of excitement with their recent appearances at large events. Sacred Harmony is also preparing for their next recording, scheduled to come out this fall. For more information on Sacred Harmony, go to www.sacredharmony1.com.

SGN Scoops Fast Five with Sacred Harmony

Written by Staff on February 9, 2015 – 10:15 am -

Sacred HarmonySacred Harmony is a mixed trio out of Elizabethton, Tennessee who just released a new CD entitled The Champion with songs either written or co-written by Phil Cross, who has mentored the group. You can listen to their music on their website or on Facebook (links below).

We invite you to meet Sacred Harmony as we ask them five fast questions about their group.

Scoops: Tell us about your group.

SH: Sacred Harmony has been in existence for approximately 15 years, with Janet Weaver being a founding member. It was a quartet until about two years ago when we became a trio. Currently Sacred Harmony is made up of Brian, Janet and Theresa.  We love to sing for Jesus Christ and about him. We are a crossover Southern Gospel trio with a hint of contemporary, praise and worship.

Scoops: What is your current radio single? Why did you choose it?

SH: “He Left No Stone Unturned,” written by the legendary Phil Cross. God’s will, timing and plan is perfect. He’s a meticulous God with great attention to detail, not only in creating the universe and devising a plan for salvation but also in the details of our lives. This song speaks to this in such a vivid way!
sh2Scoops: Tell us a funny road story.

SH: It has to be when Brian decided he wanted to drive the bus to the second concert of the day and ended up getting it stuck in a ditch before he even made it out of the parking lot. But a good old tow truck pulled it right out and on we went. He has not lived it down and he’s now exiled to the back of the bus!

Scoops: Do you have some goals for your ministry for 2015? What are they?

SH: Yes, we are keeping the prayer of Jabez in mind and asking God to expand our territory. We love meeting new people, singing this awesome music and most importantly,

sharing the gospel in song.

Scoops: When out on the road, most groups have a favorite restaurant. What is the Sacred Harmony fave?

SH: Pappasito’s!
