I was a young Mother trying to make ends meet in 1988. I was working as a waitress in a little restaurant. I was wondering where on earth I was gonna get money to buy my baby girls Christmas.
One night after work, a gentleman and his wife were parked by my car when I got off. As I approached my car, they rolled down their window and handed me an envelope. He told me that God told him to bring it. Inside was $500 and a note that said they had noticed me working hard and wanted to buy Santa for my baby, Ashley.
I cried all the way home. I truly experienced the real spirit of Christmas that year!
